Note - I just wanted to say I didn't know people were actually interested in this story honestly thank you I wasn't expecting this. Also italics are trigedasleng from now on.

They drove through the endless desert for hours Monty constantly trying to radio Bellamy to tell him about the missiles. It took them until morning to finally arrive at were Wonkru had set up. The sight was not pretty to say the least. They were all covered in sand and most were laying down exhausted. The few people who had the energy to stand pointed their guns at the rover. They jumped out of the rover and Madi ran up to Clarke and hugged her. Darcy followed behind. Spacekru jumped out and Monty waved awkwardly at Octavia while Echo and Bellamy kissed.

Later on Clarke was checking the wound on Octavia's arm in what was left of the bunker. Darcy stood with Madi in the corner.

Madi was watching Clarke work "gross" Madi said fascinated

"Madi" Clarke warned looking at the girl. She turned back to Octavia "the infection's passing" Clarke explained grabbing some supplies "but this is gonna hurt. Are you sure you don't want Jackson?"

"Jackson's tending to Indra and the others in medbay. Just do it" Octavia urged

Clarke poured some alcohol onto a rag and pressed it onto Octavia's arm. Octavia exhaled agitated.

"Madi's a big fan" Clarke told Octavia "she's heard every story about the girl under the floor who saved the human race"

"Now what your story?" Octavia asked the girls "you survived six years of radiation? What's you secret?"

Darcy looked at Clarke unknowing if she should answer truthfully.

"Synthetic nightblood, like me" Clarke explained calmly. "I took them to Becca's and shared my bone marrow"

Darcy looked at Clarke with a confused look on her face.

"You're lucky Clarke found you" Octavia said

Cooper then walked in "ready to move?"

"She needs another day's rest" Clarke explained to Kara

"She needs to be with her people" Cooper insisted

"I'm done licking my wounds. Let's go remind the others what we promised them" Octavia agreed getting up and walking over to Madi "from the ashes we will rise"Octavia walked out of the room Cooper following after.

"Octavia's such a badass" Madi said smiling "I wish we didn't have to lie to her"

"Madi we talked about this-" Clarke sighed "We have to lie to everyone to keep you to safe" Clarke said leaning down to face Madi "if the grounder find out what you are-"

"They'll what? Make us their commander that doesn't seem too bad" Darcy blurted "you said it yourself the previous commanders ascended younger then me. I'm not the little kid who was running away from you in the woods anymore stop treating like I am" Darcy took another step closer to Clarke "you and I both know Octavia is no longer the girl you told us stories about" she whispered making sure Madi couldn't hear her and then turned on the heel and walked out the door.

Darcy sat was sitting outside when the horn blew warning everyone of the ship flying towards them she ran with the crowd to the bunker but instead of more missiles something else dropped.

It started speaking "People of Wonkru, this is Colonel Diyoza offering you a chance for peace. I know you all suffered, I know you're hungry, and so many of you are weary of Octavia's rule, but now you have a choice. Abandon your weapons, leave Wonkru behind, and join us in Shallow Valley. We have plenty of food and shelter for those seeking a better life." The speaker spoke "When our ship returns tonight, head for the wastelands. Anyone waiting for us outside the ruins will be rescued. But come unarmed. If Octavia attacks our ship, we will retaliate against your city with lethal force. We're watching everything, always."  Octavia smashed the speaker but it continued somewhere else "There is a place in the valley for all of us, so please chose wisely."

Clarke had Darcy watch Madi while she tried to get in the meeting. They wandered for a while trying to get to know the place when they ran in Gaia. They walked around the bunker until they got to the pit and Clark interrupted them.

"Girls" Clarke said

"Hey, Clarke Gaia was just telling me about Wonkru combat tactics" Madi told her

"According to Madi they both encountered our enemy. Perhaps they could train with our novitiates" Gaia noted

"Thank you but they're not Wonkru" Clarke refused "they're shallow valley"

"So that's how you survived" Gaia realized "is it true that Praimfaya missed the entire valley?"

"Yes but that's not how we survived" Madi explained

"Clarke used her bone marrow to make us nightbloods" Darcy lied

"Hmm" Gaia said suspicious

"We owe her our lives" Madi added

"Gaia, would you excuse us" Clarke asked
