"There's no way out." Valerie breathed out as she glanced around the enclosed space. "I-I'm not going back down there." Aria stuttered gesturing towards the dark tunnel they just pushed open which soon slammed shut at that exact moment earning a gasp from the girls and Spencer to run towards the door and jiggle desperately on the door handle as Valerie overheard Hanna tell the camera that was watching them, "You maybe a dude but you're still a bitch."
The lights then shut off with the music.
"You guys, in the vault, I was so close to Charles. I could feel his breath." Spencer recalled informing the girls of her experience. "Was there anything abouthim that you recognized? A smell?" Mona questioned hopefully "She's not Jenna." Emily pointed out snarky. "I don't know, I can't pinpoint it but there was something that was really familiar" Spencer concluded "You mean like the way he moved?" Aria asked "No, it was... Like when you meet a pen-pal or like a cousin or somebody that you knew when you were really little." Spencer elaborated "So you're saying you think you know Charles a little but you feel like you know him a lot?" Hanna attempted to understand.
"I can't explain, it was just..It was just a feeling" Spencer finished "It's gonna get cold out here tonight." Emily chimed in rubbing her arms. "Where do you think we are?" Mona asked looking around cluelessly at the numerous trees hovering over them and the gate that wrapped around them. "We don't.... We don't know how long we were out before we got here so.." Aria pointed out "We could be in the Amazon right now." Hanna scoffed. "No, we're in the northern hemisphere" Valerie pointed out knowingly looking up at the moon. "She's right, that's the waning moon." Spencer added on in agreement causing Hanna to look at the two confused. "I was saying that facetiously." Hanna told the two girls earning a short shrug from Valerie in response.
"Wow, that's an eleven letter word, Hanna." Mona commented as the thunder rumbled causing Valerie to grab onto her sisters arm and pull her farther away from the electric fence. "This fence is like a giant lightning rod." Emily noted worriedly "You gonna let us fry out here?" Hanna asked the camera at the same time a line of thunder was heard causing them to jump. "I think that answers your question, Han." Valerie muttered under her breath.
The girls spent all night in a thunder storm, with rain pouring on top of them as they all hid under one small throw on until they all passed out on the ground waking up to bright sun then as what felt like days and days go by, the girls sat in a circle. Valerie with her throw on tugged around her and Mona tightly as they leaned up against each other for warmth, shivering.
"How long can a person live without food?" Hanna asked "Three weeks," Spencer, Mona and Valerie all croaked out together causing them to exchange glances. "But water's a different story." Spencer continued "Some people can only go a few days without it."
"You know you're dying when you're not hungry or thirsty anymore." Mona explained quietly. "It means your organs are shutting down." Valerie muttered with her eyes closed. "Mine are definitely working. I'm so thirsty, i'm seriously considering drinking my own pee." Aria admitted causing the girls to chuckle lightly. "I can totally suck on a pee ice cube right now." Hanna continued. "I'd lick sweat of a jockstrap." Emily added "Okay, Emily, you win." Hanna spoke up. "I don't know how much longer I can handle this." Aria shakily said. "You can handle it, Aria." Mona told her "We all can."
