There For You (Bakugo X Uraraka)

Chapter 2: The Attack

(A few days after Principal Nezu announced that all students would need to take a buddy with them to leave campus)

"This is so STUPID!" Bakugo complained loudly as he and Kirishima entered the mall. "I've fought the league of villains. They aren't dumb enough to attack in broad daylight. It would just be a bottom of the barrel low life with nothing to loose that would attack with all these people around."

"That may be but look around you," Kirishima counters. "People are scared. You can see them huddled together and moving quickly. There is nobody in the food court hanging out. We need to seem strong for them. So that they know not to worry"

Bakugou finally takes in his surroundings. He sees it too. People hurrying in out and out stores. More groups of adults and fewer children. Parents are probably keeping their children home out of fear. Idiots he thought acting scared like this is what the villans want. YOU'RE LETTING THEM WIN!!! He pushes those thoughts aside. Mr. Aizawa said if he didn't start working on people skills then he would have to fail him. Stupid.

They walked along heading for the store they wanted. Bakugo needed a new phone and Kirishima locked himself out of his. As the approach the store they hear a commotion coming from around the corner. They didn't even have to ask. The both kicked it into gear and activated their quirks. Kirishima harding his skin and Bakugo warming up for explosions.

As they rounded the corner they saw a dozen or so villains terrorizing civilians and taking what they want from stores. They announced themselves as heroes (both now having their provisional licences) and told the villans to stand down or they would be taken into custody.

"Never..." a purple bird looking one hissed. "You heroesss are the reassson people like me have to sssstay hidden. Nobody likessss usss. Nobody caresss about usss..."

"Thats a 'do this the hard way' if I heard one," Bakugo says with smirk on his face. "Perfect. I was looking for a punching bag to take some anger out on."

"Attack!" Another scaled looking one says.

And the fighting starts. Bakugo let's off some smaller explosions to block the villans ability to get to people while Kirishima charges in to pull people away from them using his hardening to avoid damage. After he is able to pull the civilians out of harms way he helps them to find cover. Meanwhile Bakugo has already taken down 4 villans by blasting them into walls. He laughs as they fall to the ground unconscious.

(Across the mall 2 other students from UA's class 1A are at there too)

"Hey Izuku I really want to check out this cool shoe store," Ochako says. "There is a big sale going on and I have just about worn my old ones out!"

"That's fine!" Izuku says. "I could honestly use some too! I wonder if they have my size? I also need to think about what would be good for work outs and using my quirk...." he begins to trail off. Ochako doesn't mind though. She moves him out of the way so he doesn't run into anybody while he is walking in deep thought.

While they are talking workout shoes they hear multiple explosions. The look at eachother and head toward the trouble. Izuku jumps in and starts running speeding up with each step, while Uraraka floats up to get a good view and make sure the area is clear of civilians.

From up in the sky she had a good view of the fight below. She saw Bakugo already fighting and Kirishima helping the civilians. She didn't even know they were there. Deku entered the fight and immediately backed Bakugo up. They fight well together she thinks. Even though Bakugo supposedly hates Izuku. She saw a few more villans, but nothing the boys couldn't handle, so she decided to help the civilians evacuate to a safe area.

On her way down she spots 2 more villans and engages them in a fight. She is using the martial arts she learned from Gun Head along with her quirk. She has gotten a lot better at close range combat.

After a few minutes she enlists the help of Kirishima to incapacitate them. She could have done it herself but it is always better to have backup and Kirishima did a great job getting civilians out of the way.

They then head to help Deku and Bakugo clear the remaining villans only to find more had appeared out of nowhere. There were 9 down but 20 more to go. Where did they all come from? She didn't see this many while she was in the air.

That question was answered in a few minutes. Kurogiri appeared out of a swirling black mass bringing 10 more villans. Deku and Bakugo were starting to look tired, but never wavered. Now Uraraka and Kirishima started to help. The 4 of them were putting villans down and working together seamlessly. They practice together after all. This is what they have trained for.

Kurogiri was now watching the teens fight from a distance. He could see them starting to exhaust themselves. No adult pro Heros were around. They planned this almost perfectly. He wasn't planning on the exploding boy being there with his friend, but it didn't matter. They were all getting tired. After they were worn out he was to kidnap Deku.

He could see that a few Pro Heros were on their way to help.

It's now or never he thought. The gravity girl and thick skinned boy were finishing up the last 2, while the exploding boy and Deku were catching their breath a few steps away.  They didn't know he was up on the roof.

As he swooped down on them Bakugo and Uraraka reacted at the same time. Uraraka activated her quirk making Deku light, and Bakugo threw him out of the way. Deku hit a wall hard.

Then the darkness surrounded Bakugo and Uraraka both.
