There For You (Bakugo X Uraraka)

Chapter 14: Getting Ready

(Bakugo and Uraraka were having a moment when Mina walked into her room because they left the door open)

"Ummmm," Mina says seeing Bakugo's face. "Maybe I should just go."

"You have already done enough," Bakugo says frustrated. "I'll just go then."

"You don't have to leave," Uraraka says.

"I'm sure she is here to talk about the party tonight," Bakugo says. "It's okay. I'll see you later." He smiles and gives her a kiss on the cheek as he leaves the room.

"Eeeeee," Mina squeals.

"Not one word," Bakugo says as he leaves. "Or I'll blast you to the moon."

He closes the door roughly behind himself.

"Sooo....," Mina says full of giggles. "When did all this start?"

"It's not what you think!" Uraraka says.

"Mmmhmm," Mina says skeptically raising her eyebrow.

"Honestly!" Uraraka says.

"Well it SEEMS like you were well.... entertained... while you spent time captured," Mina says wiggling her eyebrows.

"No!" Uraraka says. "We never did anything there! When we got back to school we.. kinda.." suddenly Uraraka's face went red.

"Girl," Mina says. "Spill. Now."

"I mean.. we both had trouble sleeping," she says. "So somehow we both ended up in the same place in our sleepless wondering. It turns out... that we both feel the same... attraction towards each other."

"So what Bakugo just says he likes you?" Mina asks. "I don't buy it. He doesn't seem the type for words."

"Well," Uraraka starts. "He really isn't. He is a man of action..."

"Wait wait wait," Mina says. "So did you 2...."

"No!" Uraraka says before Mina can finish her question. "We just... I guess made out for a while."

Mina raises her eyebrow at her.

"And a few other times," Uraraka says turning pink. "We probably would have done more, but it all felt too fast."

"Oooo," Mina says. "He more than likes you girl!"

"I don't know," Uraraka says. "After everything that went down with Deku last year.... I just don't want to set myself up for disappoint."

"You won't be," Mina says. "Listen. I have been hanging out with him our whole high-school career. He never slows down when he sees something he wants. But the fact that he did for you tells me that he has CRAZY respect for you AND your feelings. He wants you to feel comfortable. He won't force you to do anything you aren't comfortable with."

"But what if," Uraraka starts.

"But what if he makes you really happy?" Mina says. "What if it's meant to be? What if it is everything you ever dreamed about?"

"But he wants the same things that Midoriya wants," Uraraka starts. "He wants to be the number one hero. How will there be any room for me if that is all he thinks about?"
