There For You (Bakugo X Uraraka)

Chaper 8: Rescue

(The heros could hear a commotion on the other end of the intercom system. After the sounds of fighting stopped they heard the sound of their teacher come over the intercom asking if they were okay)

"Yes!" Uraraka said excitedly. "How did you find us?"

"We are constantly tracking the leagues movements," he said. "We know a lot more than they think. Do you know where you are?"

"No," she says sadly. "We know we are underground, and far enough under that our cell phones don't work. There is a TV in here with a cord that goes deep onto the wall. We can not see where it plugs into."

"What about breaking out?" Aizawa asks.

"The walls are reinforced with something," Bakugo says annoyed. "We would have been long gone if I could have blasted our way out of here."

"That makes sense," he says. "I see food on the table there. How have they been bringing it to you?"

"Kurogiri would bring us 2 meals a day," Uraraka says. "I don't think they wanted us to starve, and I know we were not their target. They wanted Deku."

"We figured as much after confiscating all the security tapes from the mall," he starts. "You two definitely put a wrench in their plans getting him out of the way like you did. We are not completely sure what their plan for him was at this time, but as we search their hideout here hopefully we can pick up on somthing."

"That's good," she says. "Let us know what you want us to do."

"I need to talk with the police and other pro Heros to try to figure out where you are," Aizawa says flatly. "In the meantime a few of your classmates came to help out. They will keep you company if you are okay to talk to them."

"Sure!" Uraraka says excitedly.

Bakugo was starting to feel surly again. Who is she so happy to talk to. He thinks to himself as he walks away to sit on the bed.

"Uraraka are you okay?" Todoroki asks in a flat even voice.

I knew it, Bakugo thought. They are here for her. Can't says I blame them.

"I'm good!" She says excitedly.

"Why are you wearing a bandage?" Todoroki asks

"Oh," she says surprised. "I got burned. Don't worry it's not serious!" She added.

"It looks fresh," he says.

"I'm fine honestly," she says with a smile. "Who else came with you?"

"They wouldn't let Deku join us," he says.

"Okay," she says a little annoyed. "Not really what I was asking but whatever."

"Oh," Todoroki says in the same unbothered tone. "You two are always hanging out so I assumed you were together."

"Sorry to disappoint," she said as she rolled her eyes.

So she and that nerd aren't together? The thought gave Bakugo some comfort.

"Well it was me, Kirishima, Yaoyorozu, and Ida," he says. "Everyone signed up to come, but they only let 4 of us come. Kirishima fought to be able to join us. I think he felt guilty."

"But he didn't do anything wrong!" Uraraka says definitely.

"He thinks that it should have been him to move Midoriya out of the way and not the two of you," Aizawa was back now. "Bakugo you have been quiet. Do you know something?"
