There For You (Bakugo X Uraraka)

Chapter 6: Bad Dreams

(Uraraka has been asleep for about 5 hours now.)

Uraraka's eyes flew open. She was having one of those falling dreams and she was about to hit the bottom. When she opened her eyes she looked around and remembered where she was. She could feel a tear on her cheek. Did that happen while I slept? She thought. She tried to remember the specifics of her dream and why she was falling, but the harder she tried the more the dream became clouded.

She could feel her heart pounding when Bakugo asks, "everything okay? You woke up in a hurry."

"Bad dream," she says quickly. "At least I think it was. I can't remember to much of it honestly."

"Understandable," he says brushing the tear off of her face.

Uraraka gets up and stretches trying (but failing) to calm herself down. It was still really cold in their cave/cell, but she had too much adrenaline going through her to sit down.

"Why don't you go ahead and rest," she says. "I don't think I will be able to go back to sleep even if I tried."

"You sure?" Bakugo replied rubbing his eyes.

"Yes," she says. "Go ahead and lay down. I'll get under the blanket by your feet when I get to cold. I just... can't sit down right now."

Uraraka continued to stretch to try to calm down. Bakugo watch for a few minutes before blushing and turning to face the wall. Who am I, the purple grape kid? His name starts with an m I think? I don't really care. That kid is such a perv. Gotta spend less time around him when we get back. He thinks as he drifts off to sleep.

His dreams are filled with reminders of the last time he was captured. How hepless and alone he felt. How All Might had to retire because he was caught. How the villans thought that HE would make a good villan. That last part pissed him off. He could feel his hands heating up. What was going to happen now because of him?

Bakugo

It sounded like an angel was talking to him. Her face was blury and out of focus.

Bakugo!

It seemed more urgent now.

Katsuki!!

Just as her round features were coming into view... they suddenly changed. Brown hair turned blonde, her round brown eyes turned golden and angular, and consern was replaced with high pitched laughter. He saw Toga sitting on top of him.

Bakugo reached out, grabbed her arm and set off an explosion.

There was a loud scream.

He shook his head, while his ears were still ringing. Once everything came into clear focus he realized what happened. He had burned Uraraka.

She was on the ground crying and holding her arm. He came down to try to comfort her and she flinched away from him. He went to grab some of the water they had and geve it to her to help keep the wound clean.

SHIT! NOW WHAT? He thought desperately. Then he had an idea. The villans didn't want them hurt did they? And they could see and hear them through a camera system?
