Diana's POV

I sat across from Caius and Marcus in the large library that the Volturi Castle contained. I had been with the Volturi since I was 16 years old. Aro was the one to turn me into a vampire on the day of my 18th birthday, per our agreement.

The rustling sound of pages flipping filled the comfortable silence as we continued to read large and ancient tomes that have resided in the library for centuries. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Marcus stood from his seat, setting his book aside, and approached the door to open it. The door opened to reveal Felix on the other side.

"Felix, what is it?" I asked kindly after I finished the page I was reading, flipping to the next one.

Felix turned his gaze away from Marcus to look at me. His ruby red eyes landed on my relaxed form as he announced "Master Aro would like you three to meet him in the throne room. There is a situation."

I nodded as I placed a bookmark in between the pages of my book before closing it and setting on the table beside me. I stood from the chair that I had been sitting in for the past few hours. Caius copied my movements and we met Felix and Marcus at the door. The familiar winding halls of the castle were stunning and picturesque, another reason why I loved my home.

We made our way to the throne room, greeting the other vampires as we walked through the halls. We passed several guard members and some human employees, receiving greetings of respect.

As we continued to grow closer to the throne room, I caught a familiar scent but couldn't understand why. It was on the tip of my tongue and yet I just couldn't place it.

We arrived at the doors of the throne soon enough and waited as Felix held the doors open for us. Marcus went first, followed by Caius. They made their way to Aro's side.

I nodded to Felix in thanks, receiving a nod in return. The scent was closer now, I racked my brain for an answer and came up with nothing. I gracefully glided into the room, my dress billowing behind me.

My striking scarlet eyes slowly moved toward Demetri and I smiled at him, displaying my pearly white teeth. I looked at Jane and Alec, my beloved children, and they smiled at me while I smiled back.

I finally made my way to Aro's side, not noticing the other guests in the room but as soon as I turned around, I saw a sight I never thought I would see in Volterra. My sister.

"Bella?" I asked dumbfounded, genuine shock covering my face.

"Diana?" Bella exclaimed in surprise

"You know her my dear?" Aro asked, turning his head in my direction with a questioning gaze.

No words let my lips as I was unable to form a sentence due to my shock. I carefully focused on my mind and lowered my mental barrier for Aro to read my mind. It was a trick that I picked up when I received my vampire gift.

"Twin Sister," He gasped, his eyes filling with shock and realization.

Caius stepped closer to my side, "What is the meaning of this Aro?"

"It seems that the human is our dear mate's twin sister that she told us about," He responded

After the shock of seeing my sister settled, I thought so Aro could hear, 'We should conduct business as usual my king' he nodded and I made my way to my throne beside Aro's. The black throne complimented my black dress, as did the gold detailing that covered it.

"Now we should get on with what we were doing,"  Aro said, clapping his hands in excitement.

Caius and Marcus made their way to their thrones. Caius on my left and Marcus on my far right. Aro approached one of the vampires that I learned was named Edward through my newly acquired mind-reading ability. I also added precognitive visions to my armory of abilities.
