Diana's POV

Four amazing months have passed since the wedding and Emmett, Rose, Elise, and Ashton have enjoyed their stay at the Volturi castle.

Elise and Ashton were excited to meet their younger cousins, Armani, Valentina, and Gabriel. They are always seen together. 

Emmett has enjoyed training with the Elite Guard and Rosalie has been busy with Chelsea and Heidi. 

We soon found at the triplets were gifted with abilities. Armani has the gift of umbrakinesis. Having the ability to bend shadows to his will.

Valentina was gifted the ability of enhanced self-preservation. Meaning that she has strong instincts that keep her away from avoidable danger.

Lastly, Gabriel was gifted the ability to shapeshift. He was capable of shifting his facial features by human means and even completely transforming into another species. 

We found that they had powers when I used the ability that I copied from Eleazar Denali. 

It was now December 14th. The triplets looked about 16 years of age while the Hale twins looked 18. 

Caius, Marcus, Aro, and I were sitting in the study. Rosalie somewhere in the castle with Emmett and the children were in the garden with part of the guard.

The doors to the study were suddenly pushed open and in walked Afton, followed by the blonde, Irina Denali.

"What a pleasant surprise," Aro drawled

Caius slammed his book and turned to face the visitor, "What don't you want?" When Irina hesitated to answer he tilted his head, "Hmm?"

Irina stepped forward, "I would like to report a crime." Marcus slowly put his book down and I sat forward, waiting for her to continue. "The Cullens," Aro's eyes widened, "they have done something terrible."

Aro's book was quickly slammed as he flashed over to her, reaching for her hand, "Allow me, my dear." He took her hand, watching her memories. I entered his head, seeing a vast snow-covered field. I recognized the wolf form of Jacob and Bella, a newly changed vampire. 

The one thing that I noticed that confused me was the small child, floating in the air, catching what I presume are snowflakes. 

"Oh my," I gasped 

Aro and I explained the situation to Marcus and Caius while the guards prepared a room for Irina. 

Hours later, we informed the entire guard and our children. We also told Emmett, Rosalie, Elise, and Ashton. 

When Emmett asked why it was different from our children, I explained the law against immortal children and the dangers of their creation. I then went on to explain that since Bella had no help. from my ability, they had to have made an immortal child.

Weeks passed and tensions were high. The Hales and Emmett stayed at the castle, choosing to take the side of the Volturi, having not heard from the Cullens.

The guard was sent out on missions to find witnesses to bring to Forks to see the justice done to the Cullens. We soon heard that the Cullens were rallying witnesses against us. Their plea was heard all around the world. 

We accumulated several witnesses, all allies of the Volturi. During one mission, The Kings and I decided to join the twins, Felix, and Demetri. 

The vampire's name was Toshiro. He enjoyed running away from us but he was no match for Demetri's tracking ability. 

Once we found him, Alec used his ability to rob him of all of his senses but before the dark mist could reach him, Demetri and Felix stopped him, knocking him into a wall.

He begged and pleaded, stating that he refused to join Carlisle while Alec's mist was dancing all around him. It entered his body, dropping him to the floor. 

The Kings and I flashed forward, I turned to Alec, "Alec," I stated, indicating that I wanted him to turn his ability off

His mist retreated back into the palms of his hands, leaving Toshiro gasping for air. As the mist trailed back to Alec, the Kings and I walked forward, looking powerful.

"I would never go against you," Toshiro breathed out

"Of course not," Aro said softly, "my dear, Toshiro." Aro held out his hand before clasping Toshiro's, looking into his mind. His mind revealed that Carlisle was still expecting his arrival. 

Aro affectionately caressed his head before turning around and walking away. I turned to Felix and Demetri, nodding my head as a silent, "Kill him."

We walked back through the alley and Caius spoke up, "Carlisle is all but ensuring his own destruction."

"Carlisle is too lenient with his coven," I stated, "He can't help it. I'm sure Edward is forcing his hand."

Aro sighed, "Sad. Isn't it."

We continued our search for witnesses, preparing for the worst. By the time the end of the month came around, we'd be ready.
