Chapter Sixteen: For A Minute

Logan strung his arm around my shoulders as we walked into school. He must've seen the nervous look on my face because he turned towards to me.

"I won't leave you alone, ok?" Logan assured, looking into my eyes.

                 "Ok," I said, nodding, "Ok.'

Logan smiled and kissed me on the forehead.

"One more ok and I won't believe you," Logan whispered in my ear.

"I'm ok. I'm absolutely ok. Ok?" I replied.

                "Mmm-hmm," Logan said.

We walked inside the school and I didn't feel nervous about seeing Hunter and Samantha. In fact, I sorta wanted to piss them off.

But then I realized how that wouldn't help me in the long run. So I let go of my anger.

"You smell like cinnamon," Logan replied out of nowhere.

                "Thank you?" I answered.

Logan laughed before saying, "I got it from you."

"It's different though. You let me smell your hair since you're kinda my bitch," I said, matter of factly.

                 "I don't mind." Logan shrugged.

"I shall use this to my advantage," I said evilly.

Opening my locker, I grabbed my book and passed it to Logan. Then I put a notebook on top and my pencil box on top.

                  "C'mon, bitch," I ordered, "Let's go."

Logan wiggled his eyebrows at me before I closed my locker and we walked off.

"Anastasia Marie Dawn," a voice called out of nowhere.

I turned around to see Hunter looking at me with his hands in his pockets.

"I told you a million times to stop calling me that, you dense arrogant cheating no good slut. Now, what do you want?" I snapped.

"I deserve those names and more," Hunter replied, "But if you just give me a minute, I would like to talk."

I narrowed my eyes at him suspiciously.

"Logan can even come. I won't try anything," Hunter said, looking at me.

                   I sighed before saying, "C'mon."

Logan stood close to me and I followed Hunter outside.
