Two days later will be the marriage and death anniversary of Willa and me, and exactly after 10 days will be the first marriage anniversary of Ivy and me. So in total, I have 16 days to prepare myself for telling Ivy that I love her.
I have planned the day. In the morning, I would prepare her favourite chocolate pancake for breakfast and would make a heart sign on the pancake with syrup. For lunch, I'll make her favourite fried rice and paneer butter masala and would decorate the rice in a heart shape on her plate and at night ill arrange a date for us, in the garden.
At first, I thought of arranging a date on the terrace but I cancelled it as Willa and I had our first date on the terrace and I don't want Ivy to be there. Don't take it in the wrong way. I don't want to think about Willa when I'm with Ivy.
I freshened up and got ready for work. I had breakfast with Ivy and went away. Today, the work was less compared go other days so I went to my in-laws.
"Oh, Aanav long tune no see, " Dad said and ushered me inside.
"Who is it, Zaden?" Mom asked from the kitchen.
"Our son," dad said. I smiled a little. They consider me as their son.
"Aanav, OMG," mom exclaimed. She came and higher me.
"So what made you come here to see us?" Mom asked after breaking the hug.
"Just wanted to see you and my children," I said. Dad looked at the watch and said," They had gone to school but don't worry they would be coming any moment."
Just as he stopped talking, the front door opened and all of them ran in.
"Pa."
"Da."
"Pope."
"Papa."
They shouted and came and hugged me. Wyatt came with Akira in his arms. I took the chocolate out of my pocket and handed them.
"You can give them chocolates, not I," Wyatt said giving Akira mom.
"I give them chocolates once a week not seven days a week," I taunted.
"Da come play with us," Akansha said pulling me with them. We went upstairs and passed Willa's room. I made a mental note to enter her room before leaving.
We played for an hour then they started doing their homework after I made them to. I quickly sneaked into Willa's room. I looked at the bed. It has been 22 years since I entered her room.
I laughed remembering our conversation, the way she looked when she sleeper and the way she punched and kicked me. I still remember that when she started kicking me, I went into a defensive mood. And I looked around the room for any sort of danger. Then I got a punch on my back and saw her punching me like a punching bag. Although her punches were like feathers.
I went near a photo frame. It has three persons on it. Willa, Wyatt and Bendall. Bendall is their cousin. I had met her one or two times.

went towards home after biding all of them goodbye. I went to my floor and saw all the lights turned off. Only some candles were lit on the dining table. Zara came out from Aadhira's room followed by Aakav.
"What is this?" I asked them.
"This is a surprise we have arranged," Aakav said putting his hand on her shoulder.
"A perfect candlelight dinner. So sir, please have a seat," he said in an accent. I took a seat.
"Your mate will be in a minute," Zara said before disappearing into Aadhira's room. "Now listen, I want two little Aanav and two Little Ivy," he whispered in my ears and went to the room.
Not soon after I heard the sound of the anklet and I felt nervous. Don't ask me why. Her toes cane in my view then her anklet, which was making the sound. Then the dress, and I became shocked. This was the same dress Willa had worn on our first wedding anniversary. "Where did you get this dress?" I asked after she took her seat and I got the faint smell of pine.
"Zara gave," she said. How can Zara do this? In one swift movement, I pushed the table sideways causing all the plates and bowls to fall. I pulled Ivy to her feet by her arm.
"How dare you wore this dress. Don't you know that this is Willa's dress? Just because we have spent one year together doesn't mean that you can take her place. You can't take her place even is you wear her dress. I don't want you anywhere near Willa's belonging," I said and pushed her backwards. She fell on her chair. I went to Willa's room.
I opened the wardrobe and sure the dress was not there. I sat on the chair and calmed my anger and then I felt guilty for yelling at her. How could she know that it was Willa's dress? Now I feel angry at myself. I should apologise to her.
I went to the room she was in. She was sitting on the edge of the bed and was crying. She stood up when she noticed me. I feel pain when I saw her tears. I went to her and cupped her cheeks. I wiped her tears with my thumb. Her lips were trembling. I leaned in to kiss her but when our lips were inches apart, the memory of Willa's and my first kiss floated in front of my eyes. I played her away and again went to Willa's room.
