I was in my room laying on the bed with Ivy's question in my mind when suddenly the door opened.

"Aadhira I'll say the story tomorrow," I said and then realised that she is not here. I looked at the door and saw him.

"I know," he said.

"What?" I asked.

"That Ivy is your mate," Aakav said. I sat up. How did he know about this?

"I overheard Ivy's and Zara's conversation. Ivy was telling her that she felt sparks whenever you touch her. And it means only one thing," he said with crossed arms.

"Let's go to the terrace," I suggested. He nodded and then we went to the terrace. Some teen girls were there but they soon left after they saw us.

We settled on the chairs which were there.

"Yes, Ivy is my mate," I confessed. "I got to know this when she came here," I said.

"And why didn't you tell me?" He asked.

"Because I will reject her, soon," I said looking at a star.

"Are you crazy? You will reject your mate?" He asked with wide eyes.

"For me, my mate is only Willa and no one," I shouted. We both were looking at each other for some moment.

After some time he shook his head and started laughing. "You will reject Ivy not because you consider Willa as your name only. You would reject her because you are afraid of being the imperfect mate, again. You are afraid that something like Willa would happen to Ivy and you will lose her. You are afraid of giving yourself a second chance," he said.

Am I really afraid?

"Aanav, you should be happy that you got a second chance mate. Not everyone is as lucky as you. Many werewolves thrive for another mate and look at you," he said. "I will reject my mate soon," he mimicked me.

"Go to Ivy. Talk to her and tell me when you are ready to marry her," he said.

"But Willa," I paused.

"She will be happy to see happy," he said.

"I should go, my mate is calling me," he said with a smirk and went away.

Soon the weekend came and along with it came my children. I didn't talk to Ivy although Aakav would request me to do so

"Da, see Wyatt uncle gave us so many chocolates," Akansha said showing me the chocolate.

"Where is Wyatt uncle?" I asked.

"Talking to Aakav uncle at the front door," Anish said.

I quickly went to the front door and saw Wyatt talking to Aakav.

"I'm going to kill you," I said. As soon as he heard me he started running towards his car.

Before I could reach him he started his car leaving a trail of dust behind.

"What happened?" Aakav asked

"He is giving chocolate to my kids," I said.

"And here I thought something serious happened," he said and shook his head. "By the way, Ivy..." He stopped when I raised my hand.

"Not interested," I said and started going towards the house.

"Now you are not interested but one day you will be," he said. I ignored him.

"Aanav, please come to my office," Zara mind-linked me. I went to the office.

"I'm so sorry that I called you today but it's urgent. Please help me," she said while showing me the files.

For the next two hours, we did the work. After that, I went to my home and saw Aakav saying something to Aadhira, Akansha and Alar. Just as he saw me he went upstairs.

Aadhira, Akansha and Alex took me to my room and locked the door.

"Dad, you remember you promised me and Akansha a gift last year on our birthday?" Alex asked. I nodded.

Willa was also here at that time. I was so busy that day that I forgot to bring a present for them so Willa told me to say that I'll give them whatever they want. But that didn't ask for anything, then.

"We want you to marry Ivy aunt and make her our mommy," Akansha said. I was shocked.

"Aakav has told you this, right?" I asked them.

"No, he just told that Ivy aunt is your mate," Aadhira said defending Aakav.

"Pa, please I want a mom," Akansha said with tears.

"Every night Anish would say that he wants a new mom," Aadhira said. This is new to me. I never thought that they would need a mother even if I don't need a wife.

They started saying Please and then finally I told them my decision.

"Ivy I want to talk to you," I said to her. She stopped playing with Akira and Akansha took her place I took Ivy to my room. She took a seat on the bed. And I took a seat on a chair which I had dragged, before the bed.

"Do you know that we are mates?" I asked her. She nodded.

"Are you happy that we are mates?" I asked. She nodded.

"Will you be happy to be the mother of my children?" She nodded shyly.

"But let me clear one thing," I said and crossed my fingers. She looked at me.

"You will only be the mother of my children, not my wife because that place is taken by Willa. Although we will be husband and wife for others," I said and waited for her response. When she didn't say anything I continued.

"I am asking this because my children wanted a mother love. Apart from Zara, they see you as their mother. Zara can't look after them because she has her children. So, do you agree to marry me?" I asked. She was sitting still for some time and then nodded.

I saw tears falling from her eyes and it hurt me. I wanted to go and rub her teats off instead I fitted my hand and looked at the ring given by Willa.

"Good," I said and went away from there.

Ivy P.O.V.

How will you feel if your crush says that he/she would marry you but will never love you. Broken. Sad and much more emotions and I'm feeling that.

Aanav said that I'll be his wife but not his wife. I nodded because of the children. I feel so connected to them. I'm sure that I can gain a little space in his heart, after all, Love conquers all.

I looked around and saw no memory of Willa. Not even a picture.

I went out of his room and saw Zara descending the stairs. "Come fast we have to shop for a perfect weddings dress for you," she said and took me with her to the car.

"Why?" I asked.

"Ivy tomorrow is your wedding," she said.

"Why so early?" I asked while stripping my seat belt.

"Aanav wanted the children to be present and Aakav doesn't want this marriage late. Aakav is so impatience that he declared that tomorrow will be the marriage," Zara said.

Soon we reached the mall and started finding a dress for me. And finally, I found the perfect dress after going through 25 dresses.
