"Yet you were my fiance while your parents still had that pact. That's enough for me to know." I grabbed onto his hands, trying to stop him, but he brought his hands up and slapped me. The sound resonated all around the house, demanding silence.

I looked up and saw his red, bloodshot eyes, staring at me with hate. He took a deep breath before running out, taking my heart with him. I collapsed on the floor, my body giving up on me. I walked towards the kitchen and grabbed my knife, looking at it with hopefulness.

I bandaged my arms and stomach, trying to stop the flow of blood coming out. A sadistic laugh left my mouth, giggling at the vulgar scars. I continued laughing until I realized what I was doing. "No..." A light whisper left my mouth. "Not again..."
