(Two years later)
"Gouzhi, I'll be looking for clothes for my little angel." I said while walking to the kids section. He nodded his head before he continued looking through the jewelry, probably looking for something to give to Chungha.
I walked into the kids section before I spotted someone I knew. They stared into my eyes before approaching me. "Hey Jinhai."
I stopped what I was doing to stare at them. "Hello Changying." He smiled at me before speaking.
"He hasn't been the same since you left. He always whispers for you at night. But whenever we ask him about you, he says that he misses you, but won't forgive you.
I glanced at him sadly. "I miss him too, but I don't know if he'll forgive me."
"Changying, come on!" I heard a voice yell from behind me. I turned around, my heart stopping.
"Bao..." I whispered, my voice barely over a whisper. He stopped moving to stare at me.
"Jinhai."
"I'll leave you two. Meet me at the car Bao." Changying said while walking away.
He walked up towards me, staring into my soul. "So how have you been?" He asked while standing in front of me.
"Good, what about you?" I tried to keep our conversation simple.
"I'm fine." We were quiet for sometime, looking at everything except each other. I decided to break the silence, wanting to talk to him.
"I miss you Bao." I quietly said, a sad shiver going through my body. A small smile appeared on Bao's face.
"I miss you too. But I'm not just ready yet. I won't be able to forgive you for sometime." I nodded my head.
"Do you still have the same phone number?"
"Yeah, I do." He pulled out his phone and gave me a call to prove it. "I should get going now. Changying is probably waiting for me." Bao ran away, making me happy that he at least spoke to me.
