Hello everyone, my name is Keith. I've been in Wattpad for a couple years now but I have only read stories. This is my first time writing and publishing here in this wonderful site, as I hope to challenge myself in writing.
I Loved You First is my first original (and not fanfiction) gay story so I want to start off in a realistic plot. I'm aiming to capture reader's emotions. I want to have them ride a roller coaster; love the guy, hate the guy, sympathize with the enemy, understand the reasons, hate the situations, get confused...
I want the readers to feel intensive empathy on the character, to feel as how the character would.
And I can only do this in a realistic settings (still fiction though.)
Moreover, I don't want to sound too poetic. I would like to stick to contemporary language to make it easier for people to relate. Though I have to admit that english is not my native tongue so it's going to be a difficult path for me...
So, I hope you give this story a chance and I hope to learn from this!
