After Sonny told Demetri everything that had happened between her and Moon, the boy thought it was best if he didn't tell Sonny who'd be at the celebratory dinner, not wanting her to freak out and not go.

When the pair got to the restaurant, Sonny immediately started scolding Demetri quiet enough so only he could hear as they slowly walked towards the group who was waiting for a table.

Sonny kept her head down as the waitress lead her, Demetri, Moon, Hawk and Aisha to a booth. Hawk was the first to sit down, gesturing Demetri to sit next to him, figuring Sonny and Moon would want to sit next to each other but before Demetri could even move, Sonny grabbed his arm, tugging him to the other side of the booth. Sonny was pressed against Demetri and the wall as Hawk gave her a weird look.

Moon frowned, slowly taking the spot next to Hawk as Aisha took the other side of Demetri.

"So, you might be wondering what a team does after they win the championship. Victory nachos! It was supposed to be a round of drinks, but the waitress was not feeling Hawk's fake ID." Aisha told the phone and Sonny immediately choked on her cola from snickering. Hawk glared at Sonny before turning to Aisha. "Hey, don't talk about that. My parents follow you."

Aisha cringed before turning back to the phone. "Sorry, Mr. and Mrs. Moskowitz. Anyways, until next time, no mercy, bitches." Aisha said as Demetri turned to Sonny with furrowed brows. "Doesn't Jess follow her?" Sonny shrugged, shaking her head. "Yeah, but she kinda expects this, I think."

Demetri nodded, taking a nacho out of the basket. "I gotta say, it's nice to be at a victory party." "Yeah, except you had nothing to do with the victory." Hawk said, reaching over and taking the nacho from Demetri's hand before stuffing it in his mouth.

"Well, then I consider it a belated party for the coding competition we won at computer camp. Remember?" Demetri asked and Sonny turned to him, a growing smile on her face. "What was that song you made up again?"

A smile instantly grew on Demetri's face as he started doing the robot. "Demetri and Eli. Binary Brothers." Hawk glared at Sonny and Demetri, leaning over the table to get closer to them. "Hey, you two need to cool it with the nerd shit." Sonny flattened at his words, her eyes falling to the table.

"Hey, where's Miguel? Those wings are getting cold." Moon spoke up, the first time she had said anything since they got seated. The group turned their heads to Miguel sitting all alone and a table on the other side of the restaurant. "We'll go check on him." Aisha said, getting out of the booth as Moon got out to let Hawk go.

Sonny, Moon and Demetri sat awkwardly at the table. Sonny swirling the straw around her drink while Demetri watched the two before pursing his lips and lifting up his almost empty cup. "Well, would you look at that... I'm out of soda. I'll be right back." Demetri muttered and Sonny turned to look at him with a betrayed look.

"Wha- Dem- Oh my God." Sonny whispered under her breath before slumping in her seat. Moon cleared her throat, drumming her fingers on the table before looking to Sonny. "You did good at the competition." Sonny gave a small smile, not looking up at the girl. "Thanks."

Moon opened her mouth to say something else but Demetri and Hawk came back. Sonny looked down at her watch and cleared her throat. She quickly put a hand up to stop Demetri from sitting so she could get out of the booth. "Um... I should get going. Jess is at work so I'm gonna have to walk home. It'll be a long walk with the crutches so I'll see you guys later."

She could hear the group mumble goodbyes as she stumbled out of the restaurant. When she crossed the parking lot, she could hear running footsteps from behind her but ignored them.

"Sonny! Slow down!" Moon screamed, running after the girl. "I'm on crutches, Moon. I'm not going that fast." Sonny called out over her shoulder as she heard Moons footsteps stop. "Please, Sonny." Moon breathed out and Sonny sighed, turning around to face her.

"Look, I'm sorry about the party. If you could just let me expl-" "Theres nothing to explain. You kissed me then told me you didn't want to and ran away. It's fine really." Sonny interrupted, going to walk away until Moon yelled.

"I didn't want to kiss you like that!" Sonny stopped walking as Moon continued, her words slower and softer than before. "When I said I didn't want to kiss you, I meant I didn't want our first kiss to be me drunk and a bunch of teens around us. I wanted it to be special."

Sonny slowly turned around but didn't meet Moons eyes. "I really like you Sonny. And after I ran at the party, I freaked out and called Yasmine and she told me to just tell you but I was scared. But I really like you." Sonny finally met Moons eyes as she took in everything Moon just said.

"Are you gonna say something or...." Moon said, making Sonny laugh. "I really like you too." Sonny mumbled but Moon heard. The two girls smiled wide as Moon practically ran to Sonny, wrapping her arms around the girls neck and pulling her into a kiss.

It was as if time stopped when their lips met, but the flutter feeling in their chests only intensified. Sonnys heart pounded against her chest as her knees got weak. The same sentence kept repeating in her head.

Moon is kissing me.

Sonny felt Moon slowly pull away and when she opened her eyes, Moon had a huge smile on her face. Sonny smiled at Moon until something caught her eye just behind her. Demetri, Hawk and Aisha all cheering the two on. Sonny brought a hand up to her face, laughing. Moons brows furrowed before she turned around and grew embarrassed at all of Sonnys friends. 

Moon let out an embarrassed squeak, leaning into Sonny as she chuckled. She turned to Sonny and smiled. "Do you want me to drive you home?"

Sonny smiled, nodding her head, making Moon spin to face the direction of her car. "Great! Come on slow poke!" Moon announced as she skipped away and Sonny laughed following after her. "Crutches, Moon. I'm on crutches."
