The Best Friend that Change Everything

Chapter 1- the Aptitude Test

Its the morning of the Aptitude test but it is also the time where my mom cuts my hair. It's weird seeing how much I've changed within the last three months since I saw myself. My hair has grown much longer, like a good 5 inches, so now at my lower back instead of being above my boobs. Yes, I said boobs get over it. I basically don't have any acne on my face, which is good in my case because then guys might like me better because first I'm in Abnegation so people don't really like us for help the factionless and I'm a nerd. Guys don't like any nerds except Edurite. Well, I did have a best friend but I really never knew his last name. I saw him at school but I haven't seen him in a while because he's 2 years older than me. Yes, I know " LILY, HE'S 2 YEARS OLD THAN YOU STOP HANGING OUT WITH HIM". I get all the time from my dad but he didn't understand that he was my rock and that having 2 other siblings is hard because I'm the youngest, so I have to live up to what they do and it absolutely sucks.

"OUCH! Mom stop pulling my hair!" I yell because it hurt like hell.

"Well honey, If you would stop moving and you also don't brush your hair that often." She said as I roll my eyes "Don't roll your eyes at me!" Mom says annoyed at me. I'm really scared right now because today is the day where I find out what Faction I truly belong to. I have noooooo idea where I'm going to belong or where I even choose. He never really told me what happens during the test. Well, A he is not supposed to tell anyone what we receive in our Aptitude test but knowing him I already know.

" Lily Prior " the announcer call out " report to room 6". I slowly get up from my seat when my sister calls out " Good Luck" I mouthed to her ' thanks, you too'.
I open the door to see this girl who is a Dauntless member and she spoke "Hi my name is Tori and I will be administering your test today. So please take a set." I sat down right away "drink this." She said as she handing me a vile of some sort of water or serum.

"What does it do ?"

"It starts the test, so drink up and this will go fast." So I downed it.

I wake up with a start. " Get up, now "

"Why? What was my result?"

"Your result are Abnegation ............and Erudite............and Amity..............and Dauntless." She whispers quietly think people can hear her speak.

" Dauntless?" I whisper quietly not believe that I got Dauntless I understand the rest of them but Dauntless.

" your results were inconclusive."

" That's impossible-"

"No, it's not. You can't tell anyone about this. People like you are called... divergent and you can't get discovered because society is scared of you." Tori says calmly and quietly as if someone was going to overhear this. I'm curious about this I need to know more.

"Why-"

"Now I want you to go home, say your sick from the serum and I sent you home"

" Wait what do I choose tomorrow."

" Make a good choice Lily you only get one chance." Then there a moment of silence "Good luck Lily" I nod back as I was leaving the room. I started on my way home scared and afraid.
