Fredca and Mothwing arrived at the camp and the warriors all looked with suspicion.
"Fredca, what are you doing with that rouge cat," said Fredca's father, Freddy.
"I need to speak with Firestar," Fredca said as the cats eyes at Mothwing.
"Fredca, what's going on," asked Firestar.
"This is Mothwing," Fredca explained. "She wants to join us." The cats all looked with confusion and surprise. Fredca went on. "I would like speak with privately in your den, Firestar." Firestar was hesitant but nodded and escorted Fredca and Mothwing to his den. When they were inside, Mothwing explained her story about how she and her brother wanted to join the clans and that Hawkfrost became interested in wanting to rule the clans like their father, Tigerstar. When she finished Firestar was quite for a bit.
"Please understand that I am nothing like my brother nor my father," Mothwing said.
"I understand. Your not the only kit Tigerstar has," Firestar said. "He has a son her named Brambleclaw and a daughter in Shadowclan named Tawnypelt and neither of them are like him. I can see the same in you."
"So she can stay," Fredca asked.
"Of course," Firestar said. "As long as she likes."
"Thank you," Mothwing said and she and Fredca exited the den.
"How would you like for me to give you a tour around the territory," Fredca asked.
"I would like that," Mothwing said.

"So what do you think of the forest," Fredca asked.
"It's nice and beautiful," Mothwing said.
"I've always enjoyed walking in the woods," Fredca said.
"I do feel at peace," Mothwing said. Fredca noticed Mothwing looked troubled.
"Is there something wrong," she asked.
"It's my brother, Hawkfrost," Mothwing explained. "I'm worried that if he finds me, he's going to be furious."
"You shouldn't let him worry you," Fredca said. "You're a warrior now and we don't let rouges push us around. If you see him, you just got to stand up and tell him to back off." Mothwing smiled feeling a bit reassured when a voice was heard.
"Mothwing, there you are."
Mothwing and Fredca looked to see a large dark brown tabby. It was Hawkfrost.
"Where have you been, I've been looking everywhere for you." He noticed Fredca and narrowed his eyes and growled. "What are you doing with my sister?"
"I'm not doing anything with her," Fredca said. "She has joined us. She is now a clan warrior."
"How could you do this to me Mothwing," Hawkfrost asked looking at Mothwing. "We promised each that we would both join the clans."
"You broke that promise when you decided to try and take over the clans," Mothwing said.
"But that's because our father wanted that. We need to finish what he started."
"Our father was a monster, can't you see that?"
"Our father was the best cat to ever walk the forest. And you are coming right back with me."
Mothwing looked at Fredca who looked back as if saying stand up for yourself.
"No," she said.
"What," Hawkfrost asked as if he couldn't believe what Mothwing had said.
"No, I'm not going with you," Mothwing said with her chin held up high. "I'm a warrior now and you need to leave."
Hawkfrost looked at Fredca and growled.
"You did this. You brainwashed my sister. You will die!" Hawkfrost was about to pounce at Fredca before Mothwing pounced and pinned him to the ground. Hawkfrost looked with surprise as he didn't expect her to pin him down.
"Stay away from my friend and never come back," Mothwing said and released him.
"Fine," Hawkfrost growled. "You want to be with that freak? Go ahead, because from this moment on Mothwing, you and I are no longer siblings."
He marched leaving Mothwing and Fredca alone.
"Mothwing, are you alright," Fredca asked. She couldn't believe Hawkfrost would say something like that to his own sister.
"Alright? I feel great," Mothwing said. "I didn't think I could stand up to Hawkfrost like that."
"I knew you could do it," Fredca said. "And he won't be bothering you again." Mothwing smiled.
"I think I've seen enough of the forest today," she said. "Can you go back to the camp?"
"Of course," Fredca said. "Oh, I almost forgot to mention, there's a gathering tonight. How would you feel participating in it and seeing the rest of the clans?"
"I would like that."
