Happy Valentine's Day Everyone! To celebrate we are going to be having a themed writing competition, but first, let me announce the results from the Christmas Show! Those involved did a spectacular job in their role, whether it was choosing the music, taking part in our roleplays or writing, everyone involved really contributed and should be very proud of themselves. To thank you all for taking part, I am giving out house points, shout outs and even a few story votes!

Here are the House Rankings, from the first competition up till now:

In fourth place, with 225 House Points is Ravenclaw

In third place, with 325 House Points is Hufflepuff

In second place, quite close to first  is Gryffindor, with 340 House Points!

And, finally with an amazing 360 House Points is Slytherin!

But don't worry if your house isn't at the top, you still have a chance of winning the House Cup by taking part in writing competitions, Quidditch matches and many other activities.

I will be holding the House Cup Awards in March/April 2015

Valentine's Day Writing Competition:

Well, anyway, enough of that, I guess you'll be wanting to hear about this competition!

Competion Details: For the first time in forever, there is going to be a Hogwarts Valentine Ball. If you've got a date and want to go: fantastic! But what happens if you're single? As your character in the competition, (not the character you were for the show, the character you signed up as when you joined the competition), write about how your search for a Valentine goes. Does your character have a superbly romantic time at the Ball with his/her one true love, or does your character have a chaotic and hilarious time instead?

Rules:

The story must be in one part

It must be completed by the 20th of February 2015, 8pm UK time

Length doesn't matter: it can be as short or as long as you like!

The story must feature the other characters from the competition, plus a maximum of three others. Check the cast list down below for all the characters. (Luna Lovegood is in the competition too, I just haven't had a chance to add her yet.)

How to send me your story:

Write it as a new part in your Frozen, Disney and Harry Potter writing competition book. (If you don't already have one, start a new book and call it “Frozen, Disney and Harry Potter Entries".) Make sure to send me a PM saying you have published it and also tag it with #GryffindorHermioneValentineComp

Everyone who takes part will receive 80 house points each and some story votes.

The winner will receive...

1) 125 house points

2) Many, many, many story votes

3) Shout Outs

The winner will also get to pick the next competition.

Well, what are you waiting for?! Ready, Steady, Write!
