Hello,

Okay, first off - can I please issue a massive apology to you guys. I was supposed to publish this a month ago and I did not.

Anyway, I hope you've all had brilliant summers and that you have kept up with your writing!

So what am I going to talk to you about today?

Well...

I'll reveal the winner

AND

I'll do a year book

AND

I'll reveal the overall house points

***

As you will remember, you were set three tasks - the 50 word poem/story and then two other stories - one social media themed and the other politics themed. Some of you chose to do all three, whereas others just opted to do one. Rather than choosing a winner for each section, instead I have chosen an overall winner. And that winner, is...

*drumroll please*

Quillsonparchment :D (Ginny Weasley)

A massive well done! I loved your little, very descriptive poem which goes on about Harry Potter feeling his scar burning - a sign that Voldemort is back. You better check it out asap on Ginny's profile.

You can also check out some of the other awesome stories Ginny has written, as she has been involved in the competition from day one. My personal favourites are "Harry Potter and Dobby's Dilemma" and "The Little Things".

YEAR BOOK - STUDENTS OF 2016-2017

Seeing as it is the end, I thought that a nice way to finish would be by giving a paragraph about each student, kind of like a year book. It would be nice if you left comments next to other people's entries, letting them know what you thought about their work.

What do you feel is the best story you've contributed to the competition?

I would say either my first entry which I called The Wizarding Fairytale that won because I was quite excited over the idea of Hermione and Ron explaining the tale of Rapunzel to Harry. But... I was also pleased with my piece about Disney/DreamWorks politics because I find politics interesting and was trying to reflect some of what is going on at the moment in it.

What is your favourite fandom?

My favourite fandom hands down is Harry Potter! I love lots of fandoms (ROTBTD and Disney included) but Harry is my number one!

What writing are you working on now?

I'm currently working on a fanfiction where Draco Malfoy becomes a Muggle born (there's magic involved there basically) and has to learn the hard way what it's like to be treated the way he treats Hermione and this will *hopefully* change him for the better. As well as that, I have a small series about fairytales in the pipeline which I'm developing and - when I find inspiration - I work on my ROTBTD Hogwarts fanfiction.
