ODE of the CHOSEN

Prologue

Titanomachy.

The great war that occurred between the Titans, the old generation of Greek gods, and the Olympian gods, led by Zeus. The war lasted for a total of ten years, ending in the defeat of the old pantheon.

They became the ruler of the three realms leaving the mortal realm as the neutral one.  Peace lasted for thousands of years. But the established harmony ended when the shadows that was kept hidden in the dark started moving.

It started when Hecate, the goddess of magic, witchcraft, the night, ghosts and necromancy, betrayed the olympian Gods. He poisoned the God Zeus and the God of War Ares and killed Persephone who saw her plan. This sparked the revolution of the chthonic Gods led by Hecate who wishes to overthrow the ruling Gods

The Chthonic gods awakened some of the primordial gods which makes the battle more disadvantageous for the Olympian Gods. Erebus, the personification of darkness and Nyx, the personification of the night was on the enemy sides.
Because of these, the Gods falls one by one, some are killed while some were thrown in the deepest side of tartarus.

The war between the Gods shaken the whole world. Mortals had no choice but to fled far away from the Mount
olympus, the center of the war. Gigantes, cyclopes and unrefined creatures brought a devastating end of the mortal realms. Ordinary people who survive the cataclysym sought shelter far from the chaos.

But when everyone thought that the revolution would succeed, the demigods, with their weapons drawn fought for peace. The never ending battle was all over the realms.

With victory on mind, the demigods planned to awaken the remaining primordial gods to asked for help. The battle to win the Primordial deities favor started which causes a lot of their comrades to fall. But amidst of all the sacrifice, the Demigods won the favor of Hemera, the personification of day and Aether, the God of light.

To have the upper advantage, Both side fought to win the favor of Chaos, the first god that precedes the universe. They believe that if  they have Chaos on their side, they would stand victorious. The Demigods of Athena and Ares lead the fight
and they fought Hecate and his mother Asteria,  the Titaness goddess of oracles, prophetic dreams, astrology and necromance.

In the middle of the heated battle, Chaos awaken on his own. He stopped the fight and his voice thundered throughout the earth:

When the day comes that stars fall from the sky.
Treacherous act shall cause a thousands to die.
Fear not for I know what lies,
For there comes a day the true ones shall rise.

Flaming hair and golden light,
Furious eyes, hunter of the night,
Unnamed godkin, true ruler of the sky,
Scion of wisdom, a feline sly,
A war child, bathe with ichor,
A true god, kept beneath,
And the personification of herald.

It shall be then, when the day is longest and the night is eternal.
Upon the time when white smoke rises, the Ode of the chosen shall end the war.

It was more like a prophecy. After chaos said that, he get back from his slumber.

The war was silent for a few months. Both side was trying to decipher what is the meaning behind Chaos words.

But the demigod knew that Chaos words are their only hope and the answer to end this never-ending conflict.

Notes:

"Hemitheos" - is a greek word of Demigod.

The Olympians are a group of 12 gods who ruled after the overthow of the Titans. All the Olympians are related in some way. They are named after their dwelling place Mount Olympus. They are the Major Deities: Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hestia, Hera, Ares, Athena, Apollo, Aphrodite, Hermes, Artemis and Hephaestus.

Chthonic Gods are defines as the rulers of death and darkness. But in this AU, they are the traitors and the enemy.

Primordial Gods/deities are the first entities or beings that came into existence. These deities are a group of gods from which all others descend. They most notably include Uranus and Gaia, who preceded the Titans, who themselves preceded the Olympians.

CHAOS was the first God who precedes the universe. So more like he is the most powerful God.
