Hunter's Pov
I then suddenly got back to my senses as the aapkeps on our front suddenly vanishes into smoke. I quickly stood up and catch my breath as I notice on my side a familiar girl lying down on the ground unconcious.
What the hell happened.
I scratch my head as I feel my whole body in pain. Last thing that I can recall is that aapkeps suddenly went on our direction after we've defeated those egyptian dogs. Then suddenly I felt my soul leaving out of my body as I see the aapkep in front of me with it's mouth wide open.
Was those emo ghosts sucking us?
I immediately walked close to Eli as I check her pulse and gladly she's still alive. Thank Heavens. I quickly carried her on my shoulders as I find my way out of this building.
Sirens are all around and I saw lifeless bodies being carried away on a floating stretcher the moment I went out. My gaze quickly perched upon my left and saw Eli's friends worriedly looking at her lying on my shoulders as 2 girls quickly approaches me.
"Anong nangyare!"
The boycut green haired girl immediately asked but I was still too weak to utter a word as I just stared blankly at her eyes while the other one quickly touched Eli's hand. Red and blue aura.. She's angry while the other one's worried.
Seconds passed and a norder approaches us and I quickly laid Eli on the stretcher as the norder's hand emit a light cyan glow towards her. She was immediately escorted towards the ambulance as her bestfriends then followed her from behind.
My feet grew entirely weak as I suddenly fell on my knees.
"Sir? You good--?"
One of the norder notices and quickly emits her healing aura on me. I then quickly looked up to the person and I saw a familiar face that made me chuckled.
It's the norder I scolded haha.
"It's that Kruger's fault, yah know?"
She uttered and laughed as I quickly held on my nape and sighed. I should be more attentive around nereidians in terms of my thoughts.
"The moment you pushed me that time, I read your mind to understand you and to my surprise there's nothing but clouded thoughts of emptiness you know"
