Whispers are around, echoing in the vast emptiness and darkness. I'm standing in the middle of it, wide awake and alert.
I was immediately startled when loud bangs of gunfire were heard from my back. I immediately grab my pistol and ran towards the commotion.
"Hey you! Hands up!"
The person quickly stopped, facing his back on me as I pointed my gun towards him. A dead body laying on puddles of blood and a mysterious man about to run from a crime scene was what is presented onto me.
My surroundings suddenly widen and brighten as the place became clear in my eyes. An alleyway in a city, muddy and dirty full of trashes from every sides.
"Freeze sir! or else force will be needed!"
I shouted as the man tried stepping a foot forward. My eyes were suddenly caught by his knees shaking as I heard huge amount of air inhaling ang exhaling from his mouth.
His terrified.
"Sir, just turn your back around and--"
"Why did you kill me?!"
I was quickly startled as I took one step back when he swiftly turned himself facing me with his forehead having a bullet shot hole.
"I was innocent!"
I walked more steps back as he quickly ran towards me, with his face almost touching mines.
"I was innocent!"
He shouted again in my face with his salivas spitting all over me.
"I was innocent!!"
I closed my eyes as a gunshot was suddenly heard from around. I was shocked and in awe as I no longer can feel the person's presence in front of me.
He vanished.
"Whyy?!"
"Whyy?!"
My eyes were opened as shrieks and mourn were battering around. I strolled my gaze and suddenly realized, I am in a funeral.
"He didn't do anything"
I looked down as I followed a voice and a little girl was staring at me, holding a picture of a man.
"My dad was innocent.."
He muttered as tears came falling down her eyes.
"WHY?!"
Her scream echoes to the surroundings making the walls of the place crumbles as with the ground trembling.
