Epilogue : Midnight of Doom

Later that night on Blackcroft island, the prison was quiet as the inmates were asleep in their cells including the newest additions Doomskull aka Johnathan Jaybeck and his legion.

But then the sound of footsteps echoed through the cellblock and did not stop until they reached Jonathan's cell.

"Wake up Johnathan."

A voice spoke out from the darkness.

The villain was roused from his slumber and he got up from his bed and stood up to face the cell bars and slowly opened his eyes.

Staring back at him was an Asian man about thirty five years old, he wore a red and black suit with black shoes, he had long black hair tied into a ponytail, calm but sinister black eyes , and neatly trimmed goatee.

Johnathan jumped back in surprise.

"A-Akai, what are you doing here in Crimson City?"
he said with a nervous tone.

The man named Akai smiled.

"I've come for you Johnathan, you've failed me twice since I allowed you to kill your brother Crimson Justice."

"If you had did as I asked, Crimson City would be mine."

"But here you are locked away like an animal."

He said, his tone angry but also calm.

Johnathan looked at Akai, his gaze fearful.

"I'm sorry Akai, I tried to do as you asked."

"But my brother has a daughter who is equally powerful."

He said.

Akai's glared cooled, as intrigue crept on his face.

"So, Kristina's first born has unlocked her abilities?"
he said.

Johnathan nodded.

Akai chuckled.

"The mighty Doomskull beaten by a child, how pathetic."

He said.

Jonathan gripped the cell bars with both hands.

"I would have killed her, but the damned police arrived just as I was going to deliver the killing blow!"

He exclaimed.

Akai moved closer to the cell bars so he was face to face with Johnathan.

" Did you tell her the truth about Kristina?"

He asked.

Johnathan nodded silently.

Akai glared Johnathan.

"I hope you didn't mention me Johnathan."
he said.

Jonathan shook his head.

"No Akai, I didn't!"
he whimpered.

Akai's glare hardened.

"I know when you are lying to me fool!"

He snarled, his eyes turning a reptilian green.

And with vicious strength and speed, he grabbed Jonathan's arm with a crushing grip.

Johnathan cried out in pain, as Akai removed a syringe from his jacket pocket.

"You're useless to me Johnathan, you don't deserve the power I've bestowed on you!"
he said.

Jonathan cried out with anguish.

"No Akai spare me!"
He bellowed.

Akai did not listen to Jonathan's protest, as he jammed the syringe needle into the other man's arm and pulled the plunger drew his blood.

Once the syringe was full of Jonathan's blood Akai backed away from the cell and pocketed the syringe.

"Goodbye Johnathan, I'll remember you as my protege, but that won't matter once you're dead."

He said.

Johnathan gripped the cell bars again.

"Akai please, I'm sorry!"

He cried.

Akai grinned wickedly.

"No I'm sorry for what comes next."

He said, as he turned away to leave.

Johnathan screamed louder.

"Akai please!"
But then out of the corner of his eye, he spotted something in his cell against the wall hidden in the darkness.

It was a young Asian woman around twenty one years old, she was dressed in a black and yellow jumpsuit, she had long black hair streaked with yellow, she had silver lip piercings on the corners of her lips and amber eyes that shined with animalistic hunger.

"No, not you Juno!"

Johnathan screamed.

The woman called Juno giggled, showing off her sharpened teeth and with a flick of her wrists , long knife like metal blades erupted from her fingertips resembling claws.

"Akai has no need for failures, so that means you're mine!"

She said as she pounced on him with catlike agility.

Johnathan fell to the floor, Juno atop of his chest.

"Please no, have mercy!"

He pleaded.

Juno cackled.

"Stay still, I hate a jumpy victim!"

She growled, as he raised her hand to attack.

And then the sound of ripping flesh and Jonathan's screams of terror echoed in the cellblock, sealing his fate.
