Chapter 8 :Reunion of Justice

Soon, it was around ten pm in Crimson city and it was quiet since Doomskull's announcement.

But the vigilante Crimson Storm roamed midtown's rooftops like her own personal playground.

Crimson stopped atop apartment building with a metal balcony and jumped onto it.

She then noticed a window and peered into the glass to see who owned the apartment.

Crimson Storm spotted a woman with red hair and dressed in a white oversized tee shirt and her feet were bare.

The vigilante backed away from the window to avoid being caught.

So this is Penny's apartment, lovely place. I guess Colby lives here too.

She thought.

Crimson Storm moved back to the window and raised a fist to knock on the glass.

"Here goes nothing."

She said to herself quietly.

Crimson Storm took a deep breath and knocked on the window.

Sure enough, Penny looked up from watching tv and saw Crimson Storm in the window.

Penny approached the window and unlocked it and pulled it open.

"Casey?"
"What are you doing here, and how did you find us?"
she asked.

Crimson Storm pulled down her hood and pulled off her mask.

" I figured you lived here, I'm staying in a hotel not too far from here."
" And I followed you from the hospital."

She explained.

Casey then entered the apartment, staying close to the window.

"That's not all why I'm here, I came to apologize for my actions towards you."

She said.

Penny didn't say anything for a moment, but she smiled.

" I accept your apology Casey, I'm not even that mad about it."

" Luckily you just separated my shoulder, it was an easy fix."

She said, as she rolled back her sleeve exposing her arm and shoulder.

"See good as new."

Penny said, as she flexed her arm.

Casey smiled.

"I'm glad I didn't hurt you that bad, I shouldn't have lost control like that."

She said starting to cry.

Penny moved closer and gave her a hug.

"I know you didn't mean all that, I still forgive you."

She said in a soothing tone.

Casey smiled and hugged her back.

And then, Colby came into the room.

"Casey!?"
" What are you doing here?"
He said with surprise.

Casey let go of Penny and stepped closer to him.

"I came to right my wrongs with you two."
"But now we have to save my mom and sister from Doomskull's clutches."
she said.

Colby looked at her, before he moved in to hug her.

" I forgive you too."
"But right now we need to suit up and stop that skull headed son of a bitch!"

He said, as he pulled away from her.
