2 weeks later

    "Hey sleepyhead get ur ass down or u would be late for office " I shouted from kitchen

    " Urggh ! I don't wanna go , why can't I just be in bed and enjoy my precious sleep " Ivy winned

    " U can do it actually unless you want to die starving " I laughed at her

     " If it's not for ur delicious aroma of pasta I would have literally be doozing off again in my fairyland " Ivy scoffed while settling down on the counter

     " Aww I didn't know that my food had surgery an effect on u dear " I winked

    " Ummm ! Thrust me babe when I say that u cook the best pasta " she said moaning at the taste is pasta

    " Thanks babe ! But ur just exaggerating things " I said

   " Come on Lina why don't you have confidence on ur skills even though every one loves ur food !"

    " I really think u should open ur own diner one day " she continued

   " It's easy to say Ivy but  I am quite happy with my job right now. We don't always get a job with such good pay also accompanied by lovely people and most importantly chance to explore our ideas and creativity " I told her smiling

   " As u say ! . Okay I think I should leave now or my boss would kick me out if I am late " she said hurriedly while rushing towards her room

     "Fine . I am leaving now Ivy , don't forget to lock the door properly" with that I started walking towards bakery

   Today the atmosphere is quite chilled , a cold breeze suddenly made me shiver and pull my jacket close to me .

    "Good morning Mr and Mrs John! " I chripped

    " Good morning Angelina " they both greeted with a plain smile

       Something was really off today they were not really happy as their usual self , they seemed distracted .

       Is their any problem I thought but then just shrugged off maybe it's just tiredness due to the work .

  " Hello there Angelina " Tina my coworker greeted me happily

   " Hello Tina " I greeted her back raising an eyebrow

  " U seem very happy today Tina , who's the lucky guy " I teased her .

     Tina is a very sweet girl she is a university student along with all my other colluges Lezi and Sam .They are working in the bakery for their winter break . Sometimes I feel as an old lady working with all of them .

     " Oh no it's not what ur thinking Angelina " she said shyly

     " Then ? "

     " Mr. John just told us that we are getting our pay tomorrow , also he is giving us bonus . Can u believe it " she chripped happily

     " Really , but it's just  mid- month . Why is he paying us so early and not to forget the sudden bonus " I said suspiciously

     " Yeah even I was surprised but I think he is just appreciating our work "  I nodded  but still not convinced about it .

    It was  time to close the bakery I turned towards Mr and Mrs John to say goodbye. They were at a table sitting along with a  young man probably 28 -30 years old. They were chatting happily.

    " Hello Mr and Mrs John I will take my leave now " I told them with a smile

" Hi dear . Let  me introduce u to Tom our son and Tom this is Angelina our chief baker "

   Oh Mrs John always tells me about her son , Tom works as a manager in a bank in Spain . He is married to his childhood sweetheart    Lisa and 5 months ago they are blessed with a baby boy Leo .Mrs John always keep adoring about Leo .

   " Hello Angelina . Nice to meet you" he smiled

   " Nice to meet you too Tom " I smiled

Next day

     Today I am happy that I am getting my pay early coz last few months very really tough for me as I spend all my pay in the hospital bill for that stranger. Thinking about that I wonder how he is doing now .

  " Angelina here is your check " Mrs John smiled weakly

  Something was definitely off both of them seemed nervous .

  " Umm actually we both want to tell u all something important ". Mr John said looking nervous , he looked towards his wife and he started again after she nodded towards him

    "  U all know that since last few months we r not feeling well , we are not too good  now to take the responsibility of the bakery anymore . So...we had decided to close the bakery . " he said

   We were all beyond shocked . Specially I , I never thought that we have to face such a condition .

   " We know it's hard for all of us but Tom wanted both of us to shift to Spain with him . This bakery is our heart , we both spend years  here but now we really want to spend our rest of life with our family and grandson " Mrs John explained

      I am actually happy for both of them , they always wanted to be with their grandson also they r actually old and should take rest now .

     We all supported their decision , wished them happy life  and said our goodbyes .

   

     So now here I am heading towards my appartment  and totally thinking about what to do now coz I am totally....
          JOBLESS.
