It's Angelina's first day at the restaurant . Xavier insisted to drive her but she declined saying that Ivy can drop her. Angelina is trying to keep distance with him like she doesn't let him drop her , she keeps a distance between them when they go out for dinner or spend time .
Xavier was glad that the kiss didn't affect their friendship and they were back again.
" Ms Williams this way please" the staff member guided her towards the kitchen
Still there were 3days left for the opening ceremony of the Restaurant but as Angelina was the head chef she decided to have a small meeting with all the cooks so that they can know each other well.
They entered the kitchen there were 8-9 members waiting for them
" Hello everyone Myself Angelina I am the head chef , I hope we all will co-operate each other " she said smiling
" Hello Angelina I am Derick I would be assisting u in the kitchen . " He said shaking her hand
Derick is a tall guy with chocolate brown eyes and sharp features . He is really handsome.
Angelina discussed about the menu and other things with the staff . She got to know them well , most of them were still in their 20's coz Xavier wanted a new and young staff to handle the kitchen and experiment new dishes.
After the small meeting they started exiting the kitchen but someone stopped Angelina
" Hey ! Would you like to have coffee with me " Derick asked nervously
Derick is a very sweet and friendly guy , he had worked in many restaurants and had a good sense of humour
" Right now ?" Angelina asked
" Yeah if you don't mind coz from now we would be working together so... Can we be friends " he asked forwarding his hand
" Sure " she shaked his hand smiling
They were interrupted by someone's coughing , Angelina looked towards the sound and found Xavier looking at her and Dericks hand narrowing his eyes.
" Hello Mr Black .Nice to meet u " Derick said immediately feeling nervous
Everyone know that Mr Black is very professional and rude person his presence makes people nervous.
Xavier just nodded his head at Derick
" Angelina I want to discuss something with you let's go " he said grabbing her hand away from Dericks hold
" Okay . Derick I am sorry but I have to go we will plan it some other day " Angelina said apologetically to him
" It's fine " Derick smiled
Xavier took Angelina towards car and told the driver to drive
" So What do you wanted to discuss " Angelina asked facing him
" Oh nothing I just wanted to have lunch with you " Xavier said smiling at her
" Are you serious ? I thought it was something important " Angelina chuckled

After the lunch he dropped her home .
" Hi babe so how the first day " Ivy asked pausing the show on the TV
". Good. Everyone is so friendly and polite I am looking forward to work with them " Angelina replied sitting beside Ivy
" All the best babe " Ivy said putting her head on Angelina's shoulder

Today was the day of opening ceremony Angelina still had to decide what she was going to water for the party
" What do you think about this one ? " she asked Ivy showing the long sleeved blue one piece
" No way Lina u already wore it at the previous party " Ivy said
" Come on Ivy it's the last dress I have now u already rejected all the dresses I showed u " Angelina huffed and sat on the bed tiredly
" Who said it's the last dress " Ivy said smiling mischievously while Angelina raised her eyebrow at her
Ivy went out of her room and brought a bag along with her.
" What do you think about this one Lina ?" Ivy asked showing a beautiful red dress

Angelina gasped looking at the dress it was a red long off shoulder dress having beautiful design on its either side
" It's so gorgeous Ivy " Angelina said excitedly
" When did you got it " she asked Ivy
" I knew that u would wear it old dresses so decided to surprise u " Ivy smiled
Angelina quickly changed into the dress , she applied minimal makeup and Ivy styled her hairs in a beautiful bun.
" Oh God u look so gorgeous Lina . I bet everyone will be gawking at u " Ivy said excitedly hugging Angelina
" But don't u think it's a bit over for the party " Angelina asked nervously but kept her mouth shut as Ivy glared at her
Finally after getting all dressed up Ivy dropped her at the party. Angelina entered the party and gasped , the restaurant was decorated heavenly everywhere there were lights , flowers , a huge Chandelier was hanging in the middle of the hall. Many well known and rich people were present there in beautiful attire . Angelina thanked Ivy in her mind for the dress or she would be totally embarrassed in the party .
