Overwhelmed

Xavier stood their with his body stiff and eyes wide . He was unable to believe what he was seeing .

      There stood a lady in her 50's with tears in her eyes , looking into those brown eyes Xavier's eyes watered making his throat choke .

     Angelina held Xavier's arm as if making him realise that it's real . He immediately turned towards her  asking her if it's actually happening ? If it's for real ?  to which she just smiled nodding her head

       Xavier moved forward with small steps still not able to process what was actually happening right now .

Dream ?

Hallucination ?

His heart was beating fast , sweat on his forehead , throat dry !

He stood a few steps away from that lady , fearing that she would just vanish in thin air if he went anymore closer to her .

" O...Oh My ! U..... u grew so fast Vin " The lady said covering her mouth with her hands , tears flowing through her eyes

    That was enough to break him into tears ! Listening to that nickname was a clear proof that It's true ! It's not a dream or hallucination .

The only person who called him Vin lovingly , the person he loved the most , the person who was his everything is right infront of him !

" Mo..m" his voice cracked unable to form any words out

" Mom ! ....it's....it's really you ?" he voiced out

" Yes it's me ! Love " her voice cracked

She felt so surreal listening to that precious voice of her precious son calling her MOM again after all these cruel years

Slowly moving closer to him with  trembling legs , her shaky hands grabbed his cold ones gently

" Mom..u?..how...what..what's going..."

" Let those questions aside,  let me first hug my precious boy " she said wrapping her hands around his shoulders and hugging him tightly

    He was standing still , not knowing what to do , what to think . His thoughts were broken hearing her sobs , his shaky hands slowly wrapped around her

" Mom...I ...I missed u !" He finally cried out loud hugging her tightly as possible

" I missed you more ! Vinvin ! I missed you more "

After what felt like hours they pulled away

" Can anyone tell me what's happening now ?" He asked looking at Angelina and Max

" Hey stop now u both !" Max came forward patting Xavier's head affectionately

" Aunt , Xavier Please don't cry anymore ! See it's a special day let's celebrate this precious moment " Angelina smiled making them pull away

" Yes ! Happy Birthday Vinvin " Adriana kissed his forehead

   This were the small things he had always craved for , small acts of affection , love and that warmth of having someone to look back at him ,to wish him to kiss him affectionately

    Xavier smiled through tears and grabbed his mom's hand leading to the stage .

     They stood there happily while he cut the cake feeding his mom first , kissing the back of her palm .

" I missed you mom "
" Me too my boy " she patted his cheeks

  The party started , everyone greeted him , he introduced Ace to his mom , Sofia could not attend the bday party as she was in the last month's of pregnancy .
Even Ace's eyes watered looking at his friend finally being happy .

     Soon the party ended with mostly Xavier sitting with his mom and talking about the past and how it happened !

" He took me away  in his car in my injured form but I somehow managed to escape from there when he thought I was unconscious and went away for sometime .
    It was so painful to even walk but I still managed to run far and then I fainted but thankfully an old couple found me and took me to hospital . As soon as I was discharged I came back home in search of you and uncle max but there was no clue of you both , even neighbours didn't knew anything  so I concluded the worst reason for it , I...I thought he ki..killed you both " Adriana brust into tears remicing the past

   Xavier hugged her patting her head  , Angelina passed a glass of water .

" But I am happy  it was not true and my boy is living a happy and better life than I can ever imagine , I am so proud of you my son you have became a man I always wanted you to be  even better than that
     And also you have the best person beside you "

  Adriana said looking at Angelina making her blush

" If not for Angelina I don't think that we could have met " She said holding Angelina's hand smiling thankfully

" What ?" Xavier asked confused

    Adriana told him how she knew Angelina from her childhood  and how Angelina confronted her about him after being suspicious about the things she told her about her son and Xavier matched at a large extend , how she told her that he was her little vinvin she always talked about and then  she planned this surprise for him on his special day .

Xavier was dumbfounded . He turned towards Angelina still can't believing that she did all this , she was the reason he encountered the biggest happiness of his life

How did I got so lucky to have her by my side , she ..she did this all for me ?

    Angelina smiled softly knowing what was he thinking exactly and how overwhelmed he felt

" I know " She held his hand kissing it softly

    Xavier was lost of words , so he just hugged her tight letting more tears and thanking god internally .
