Everyone cheered for them

Soon the dance floor was cleared for the groom and bride who were now dancing slowly in each other's embrace.

" Now it's time for maid of honour and best men's dance " the host cheered

Angelina instantly looked for Xavier but he was not yet back from attending a call.

Jace walked over to were she was and held his hand out for her. He was Eric's bestfriend and bestmen with tall figure and we'll build personality .

" May I ?" He asked smiling at her .

It was a tradition to have maid of honour and best men's dance in the marriage ceremony so they need to follow it.

Angelina once again roamed her eyes at the exit for Xavier but still no trace of him she was brought back by the sudden shouting of Ivy

" Come on babe one dance for me Please " she said as she was now standing with Eric while clutching his arms.

" Come on " Everyone cheered

' Just one dance won't harm right ' she thought and placed her hand in his with a smile

They moved to the dance floor , Jace placed his hand on her waist while other was interwined . Angelina hesitantly kept her hand on his shoulder and they started moving with the bit .

He was aware that she was uncomfortable so he tried his best to keep it simple .

" Sorry but can u not pretend to be a bit happy for the sake of my enchanting self and marvelous reputation " he whispered making her laugh at his antics

" Sorry I am just a bit nervous u know " she smiled sheepishly

" Yeah I can see that but don't worry I am not that bad dancer or it is what I think " he said winking at her and another chuckle left her mouth

She slowly moved her gaze away from him and instantly stopped smiling when she saw Xavier looking at them or precisely at Jace's hand on her waist
It was like he was burning hole in Jace's hand while glumping the wine and tightened the hold on the glass .

Soon the music stopped and all claapped for them.

" U both look amazing together " someone shouted making Xavier's blood boil

Jace walked Angelina to were she was standing previously while Angelina was still looking at Xavier who was glaring at Jace

" It's nice to meet you Angelina . Hope we can catch up soon " he said raising her hand to place a kiss at the back but as he was about to kiss her hand someone snatched her hand away

" Sorry Mister but I think u won't be able to meet up soon " Xavier said sternly looking at Jace who was a bit smaller than him .

" And who are u ? " Jace asked narrowing his eyes at Xavier who has pulled Angelina closer to him

" Her Boyfriend " he smirked as if he won the fight

" Boyfriend ? Sorry I didn't know that u had a boyfriend " he looked shocked but covered it smiling at Angelina nervously

" Yeah . Meet Xavier..."
Angelina started but got interrupted

" Xavier , XAVIER BLACK " Xavier smirked introducing himself as he knew that just his name is enough to tell him not to mess around what is his.

It was like Jace's eyes popped out as he recognised Xavier who would have thought that a billionaire would be attending a small wedding .

" Ohh .... I .... I am Jace " he introduced himself stammering and soon left them saying goodbye

Xavier still had that smirk plastered on his face , he slowly turned his gaze down to Angelina in his arms who was looking at him raising an eyebrow

" Hello beautiful " he kissed her cheeks but she moved away crossing her hands over her chest which immediately turned his gaze at her now pulled up breasts

" What was that ?" She asked mentioning to the previous incident , Xavier knew that she was talking about earlier

" Nothing just telling him what's mine " he pulled her in his arms again

" By threatening him ? " She questioned looking up at him with a frown

" Come on I just introduced myself , what wrong in that ? " He winked at her while she just shook her head hugging him close

" Are you angry on me for dancing with him ?" she asked resting her head on his arm as they were now sitting around the table.

" Yes I am ! Angel I can't see with with anyone else u are mine just mine remember that " he said sternly kissing her lips

" I know and I love you " she smiled at his possessiveness

" I love you too " he said grinning as it were the most beautiful words

The party was over and now they were back in the hotel . They were laying on the bed with Angelina resting her head on his chest and he had his arms around her waist

" Xavier are u okay ?" She asked caressing his cheeks as he looked a little streesed

" Yeah " he said still distracted

" No u are not . Tell me what's bothering you baby " she sat straight holding his face

He took a deep breath and sat straight laying his head on the headboard

" Today at the party after I ended my call I was coming back inside when I thought of grabbing a drink for both of us but when I was leaving with the drinks I heard a very familiar voice.... It was like I was fascinated to that was it seemed familiar just like ..... My mom's voice sweet and beautiful .
The lady was wearing a blue long dress had and her back faced to me so I decided to approach her but until I reach her through the crowd she was already gone
I don't know why I feel so disappointed even though I knew that she was not her she would never be coz mom already left me alone " He said his voice breaking at the end

" Sorry ! But u are not alone anymore , u have me here beside u always " she said holding his hand in her and he gave her a small smile

Angelina felt bad looking at his sad face she knew that he was very sensitive with his mom's topic .

She just pulled him towards her and hugged him closely to her chest to which he instantly wrapped his hands around her pulling her close .

They slowly laid down on the bed with her caressing his hairs , soon his breathing evened indicated that he was asleep . Angelina covered them with blanket and slept kissing his forehead .
