Hurt

After a long conversation with Ivy Angelina finally left for Xavier's house.
Right now she is standing infront of his house still debating with herself how to face him after yesterday .

Today is not a regular day earlier she considered him just a friend but now he is something more than that .
Hope it will not be awkward she thought and went towards the door .

She was blushing and nervous to face him. That special kiss still makes her cheek red by blushing.

She noticed that the door was open so she looked inside and stood shocked ,
She saw Xavier and a girl kissing each other , he had his back towards her so he didn't saw her , Angelina glanced at the girl the girl was not just beautiful but had a model figure .

She quickly started walking away from them , she was very hurt but not by Xavier but coz of herself

" I am so dumb how can I think that he likes me ? Like come on he is The Xavier Black he can't be interested in a normal girl me
But me being a fool thought of his friendly actions as something else .He just think of me as a friend " she kept chanting to herself on the way back

She texted Xavier that she would not be able to come as she is sick and slumped on her bed.

Ivy had a half day so she returned home at the afternoon.

" So tell me what happened " Ivy said excitedly holding Angelina's hand and jumping on the couch

" I..I told you Ivy he was drunk yesterday so he kissed me. He didn't have any other feelings for me " Angelina said smiling sadly

" What are you saying? " she asked

Angelina told her everything that happened in the middle

" I am sorry babe I really thought he liked u" she said apologetically

" It's ok Ivy , somewhere I knew that he won't but still listening to u and Sophia I
development a hope but it's ok he is still my friend
It's not like he should also like me back he has his own choice , so don't think much about me coz it's just a bit of liking towards him which will fade away after some time " I said genuinely smiling

Angelina was not hurt anymore coz she knew that it's not his fault he has his own choices which she respects .
She had decided to not let her feelings affect their friendship .

" What ! " Ace shouted totally shocked

" Can u please shut your mouth " Xavier said

Xavier is right now in Ace office's due to which Ace is already surprised coz Xavier never visits Ace's office it's always Ace who comes to him.

And now when he told about last night's incident to him he is totally stunned

" Xander I am telling you don't you even dare to make a move on her . She is not like your flings or sluts she is a sweet girl and I won't let you to hurt her " Ace warned Xavier sternly

" Seriously how can u think so low about me ? U know me since so long Ace. " Xavier said in disbelief throwing his hands in the air

" Yes I know you very well that's why I am telling you Angelina is nothing but sweet and caring to all . "

" Ace I was drunk I was not in my senses " Xavier said

" So it was just a mistake ? " Ace asked raising an eyebrow at Xavier

" No !" Xavier said immediately

" Xavier don't tell me you like Angelina " Ace wiggled his eyebrows

" No way . U know that we are just friends " he said looking everywhere but Ace

" Really ! Even I am your friend but u never treat me special as u treat her. Come on dude do you think I am blind the way you treat her , the way u care for her, the way you always want to be with her totally tells your feelings towards her

U r a complete different person when you are with her . No one can say that u r same Xavier who is cold , rude and a jerk when you are with her ." Ace said sitting beside Xavier and placing his hand on his shoulder

" I don't know man this feeling is so new for me I never thought that I can care for someone until I met her . I always feel good and relaxed whenever I am with her . Even I don't regret kissing her " Xavier said clutching his head in both hands

" Xavier I think you don't want to accept your feelings towards her "

" Ace I think I am overthinking it's nothing like ur saying okay . I never had someone to care for me Angel is the first person to care about me so that's the reason I feel different and it's just that nothing else ." Xavier said

It's being 2 days to that incident and now everything is back to normal Angelina and Xavier never brought the topic of kiss again and started to spend time again.

Angelina had decided to keep a good distance between them whenever they are together coz she is afraid that her feelings for him can become strong while Xavier is still confused about his feelings.
