Past

Xavier pulled back from the hug and sat beside her holding her hands in his .

" I was not always so rude and arrogant , there was a time I was happy , loved my life , my mom ...

She...she was the reason behind my smile ,my happiness , my love but....after that night everything changed ...
I changed , my happiness was left behind and I became a person my mom never wanted me to be ...." he said tears rolling down his face at the last lines

" Xavier u don't have to continue baby " she said wiping his tears but he shook his head continuing

" I want to " he kissed her palms and she nodded

" It was always me and my mom , my dad was a alcoholic and used to cheat on her with one night stands so at the age of 8 she left him and we both went to live with grandpa max .
He was a father figure to mom he was mom's uncle , he was alone so he treated us like his own family .

He was quite rich but mom never accepted his help as she wanted to earn herself so she started to work at a cafe

We were living happily until my father started visiting us , he used to ask her for money as he lost everything due to alcohol , many times grandpa warned him and we even reported to the police

Until that day it was my 14th birthday and I wanted to have a big cake so I and Grandpa went to the bakery while mom was at home preparing for the small party meal

But ......when we came back we were shocked to see the scene infront of us
Mo....mom was laying on the floor blood covering her dress while dad was standing there with the knife in his hand as soon as he saw me he attacked me pushing grandpa away but mom grabbed his leg stopping him

Flashback

" Leave me u bitch I am gonna kill him today , he is the reason that I am in such a bad condition .He is a curse since the day he was born all I got was loss , failure he is a curse " his father shouted

" Vinvin baby run Please run away from here baby please " his mom begged

His dad grabbed her hairs making her wince in pain and kicked her hard where he stabed , she fell on the ground with a loud thud

" Mom. !" Xavier shouted and fell on the ground

" Finally I killed her and now it's your turn u bastard " his dad marched towards him with the knife as he was going to stab the knife Max pulled Xavier and started running away .

His dad was following them along with few more people he hired to kill them

Max ran and ran until he reached the forest and hide away behind the trees with a trembling Xavier clutched to him.

His father and those men searched for them for a while but then went back disappointed

" Grandpa let's go mommy is waiting for us " Xavier said wiping his tears and dragging Max

After few hours they reached home checking if they left or not .Max was sweating badly while entering the house he knew that Xavier's mom died but how will he tell that to Xavier he is just a child

" Mommy ! Where are you ?" Xavier ran inside searching for her but  she was not there

They searched the whole house then finally asked the neighbours who told them that Xavier's father carried her dead body away and drove off
Listening this Xavier started crying and shaking badly , the only person he ever loved left him , his mom , his friend , his everything left him alone in the world
