ring! incoming facetime call from alex<3

i woke up early to a call from alex. it was 6 am for me, which means it was 5 am for him.

i answered the phone.

"why the fuck are you calling me so early." i asked jokingly. not really.

"i know karl has talked to you about this already, but he just told me how he feels about sapnap."

my eyes opened wide.

"what did you say to him?" i questioned. "did it go well?"

"yeah it went pretty good. i told him i supported him and i was happy he could trust me enough to tell me."

i let out a sigh of relief. i'm glad it went well.

we finished up our conversation.

"can i go back to sleep?" i asked nicely.

"no i want to talk to you." he said.

"i'm tired." i replied.

"stay up and the tired will go away."

"i don't think that's how that works man."

we both laughed.

"i miss you." he declared.

"i miss you more." i replied.

we talked for a few more minutes until i hung up because karl was calling. answering karl
seemed more important than alex right now, and he agreed.

"so alex told me you told him."

"yeah i did."

"i'm proud of you." i told him.

"thank you." he replied. he was still down.

"have you been talking to sapnap?" i asked him.

"no. i've been avoiding him."

"still? karl you can't ignore him forever, he's one of your best friends." i reminded him.

sapnap told me he missed karl.

no one knew that i have been in touch with sapnap. not even quackity or karl.

we have known each other for a bit, but never really talked. he randomly dm'd me asking if karl was alright since karl's been ignoring him.

sapnap knew how karl felt, but he didn't realize until he got a girlfriend. sapnap felt bad, and i know he wasn't over karl either. they both liked each other, but i wasn't going to say anything. they will happen on their own terms.

"i know i shouldn't ignore him. but it hurts to talk to him."

i sighed.
