Today was the day Jacqueline Sloane was leaving NCIS. Jethro walked into the bullpen from the elevator doors, feeling very sad. He sat down at his desk and set his coffee on the surface of the table in front of him. He hadn't taken a drink out of it which was unlike him. Torres and Bishop came through the elevator doors, laughing. 'How can they laugh when the love of my life is leaving NCIS, forever?' Jethro thought to himself. "You know, you shouldn't have been spying on me when I was on a date," Bishop said, punching Torres playfully on the shoulder. "Ow that hurt," Torres said. "Next time don't spy on me," Bishop said, sitting down at her desk. Torres sat down at his when McGee came through the elevator doors. "Good Morning, everyone," McGee said, taking his seat. "Good Morning," Bishop and Torres said. "Morning, McGee," Jethro said, frustrated. The elevator doors dinged and Jack came through the doors. She went straight to her office without looking at anyone. When she got to her office, she saw cardboard boxes of different shapes and sizes, crowded around. She sighed. 'I'm really gonna miss this place. Not only my office but the team. Especially Jethro. I've grown to like him very much and I think I've developed a crush on him.' Jack thought. She smiled at the beautiful blue eyes of his that she imagined in her mind. She continued packing like the day before. A few hours later, she had finally packed everything besides the elephant painting. She looked at it and remembered Jethro and the day it happened. The day he gave her that indirectly. She remembered all of the memories she had; all of the laughs, the cases, the sadness, all of it at NCIS. She started crying. She knew that it'd be hard leaving and she knew that she would miss NCIS. What was Jack Sloane without NCIS? There was a noise behind her and she kept crying when she saw who it was. The blue-eyed marine standing in front of her was the last thing she wanted to see right now. She was going to miss him so much; more than anyone else she'd met at NCIS. She loved him. She realized it now that he was the love of her life; she knew that he was the only one she needed but she remembered the conversation she and Dr. Grace had days ago. She knew that Jethro didn't the same way about her that she felt about him. Jethro couldn't take the person he loved most in this sad state. He walked over to her and comforted her. He knew he would miss her very much. After all, what was Jack Sloane without NCIS?
