Blushing (SR)

Summary: A few times Spencer has made Y/N blush.

Jackets:

It was extra cold and we were on an intense case. Y/N and I were paired to investigate the crime scene. She was always one of the toughest on the team and, personally, one of my favorites to be paired with. We were walking around trying to figure out why this location was important to the unsub and I noticed she was shivering. Of course, she forgot her jacket. 

"Are you cold?" I ask.

"No, just those unsettling vibes you know." She responds. 

Liar. Knowing she wouldn't admit if she was cold, I took off my jacket and scarf and placed them on her shoulders and around her neck. She smiled and snuggled up to my clothes and she stopped shivering. Cute.

"Are you... blushing?" I giggle as she darts her eyes at me in the most 'stop stop stop' kind of way. 

"What, no." She says quickly walking and kneeling by the scene, trying to distract herself.  

"Did I get the super-tough  Y/N Y/L/N to blush?" I grin at her and she huffs while trying not to smile. So cute. 

"No... no, Reid, it's... it's just the cold." She scoffs, trying to get this conversation to be over. 

"Huh. It's the cold and definitely not that I told you "You're so freaking adorable when you're cold?" I ask slowly, followed by a laugh. She's completely melting from embarrassment. So extremely adorable.

"N-no, Reid." She rolled her eyes as the blush spread even faster over her face.  

She hit my shoulder slightly, in a playful way, and mouthed "Thank you". 

"Of course, cutie," I reply, happily making her tough shell soften a little.

Ice-Cream:

After a super long week, Garcia invited the whole team to her house for hot cocoa, ice cream, and a movie night. Y/N showed up late, halfway through Legally Blonde. While Spencer was up grabbing more ice-cream, she walked in. 

"Hey cutie," He whispered, "It's Legally Blonde." Trying not to disrupt the move going just a few feet away. 

She smiled and hugged him. They've always been super good friends and acted like a couple, even though neither would admit how they felt. The whole team was anxiously waiting for the day they'd finally realize their mutual feelings. Morgan and Garcia even had a bet going on to see which one would admit their feelings first. 

"Want some ice cream? I can get it for you while you change." Spencer asked Y/N, knowing she'd come in her work clothes because she had extra paperwork. 

"That'd be great, Spence." She smiled. "Just remember-"

"No sprinkles, extra fudge, whip cream, and 2 cherries." He quoted from memory. She blushed and nodded, "Thank you." 

Y/N walked into the bathroom and quickly changed into a comfy pair of gray sweatpants and a black tank top. She walked out and sat right next to the boy genius, who had her perfect bowl of ice-cream ready to go. They shared a blanket and began to watch the movie with the rest of the team. 

"My mouth is cold." She shivered quietly. 

"Want me to warm it up for you?" He smirked while placing an arm around her. 

Garcia nudged Morgan getting ready to win the bet, she was on Spencer's side. 

"Y-yes... please." She blushed a bright red that gradually spread along her cheeks. 

"Here you go!" He replied while handing her a cup of hot chocolate, and extra whip cream.

Garcia facepalmed and Morgan just began cackling. Meanwhile, Y/N was absolutely dying of embarrassment. She managed to crack a smile at the hot cocoa that was made just the way she liked it. 

"That's what you meant right? You wanted hot cocoa?" Spencer was obviously oblivious to everything. He rubbed his neck the way he did when he was nervous. 

"S-sure. Yes, thank you, Spencer." She took the drink and went right back to the movie watching. 

"Anytime, cutie." He responded, still oblivious that he had the perfect opportunity to admit his fondness for the girl he so desperately wanted.
