The best history lesson I've ever had

They're all staring at me. ugh.
"Okay, start with the story of dreams or whatever!"
"Um, okay." The girl I remember as Mia mumbles. "I should tell it, right guys? Since I'm a klay and stuff..." she trails off.
"Yeah." David says excitedly.
"Okay. I'll start at the beginning. in the past, the world was divided into nine races, as they call them. the races were then divided into two sections, elemental and amaze. the elemental-section magic is...
fire, people with fire magic.
Ice, people with winter-based powers.
Wind, people with mostly wind but also weather-based magic.
Water, people with water controlling magic.
And Universe, people with planet and star-based magic.
The amaze-section races are...
Klay, people with memory magic.
Mal, people with sensory magic.
Nine, people with magic to transport people or things.
Fairie, people with magic that enables people to fly.
And take, people who are able to take ten people's magic in their lifetime.
Essentially, there were nine people who were given the gift of magic. Ice magic was the most powerful of all and it's race ruled the earth. But it wasn't perfect. The entire take race became jealous of the other races' magic and began to take all of the magic that had been granted to others. War broke out between all the magic races, and one more race- the non-magic users. and The ice king knew that this had to be stopped or all the races would kill each other. with the help of the universe princess, the nine queen, and the Entire fairie population, they created a different dimension in which magic users could be safe and freely pass over between worlds. the ice king restricted take race passage into Dreams and also erased non-magic users' memory. But one person's memory was not so easily erased. He wanted passage into the magical world of dreams. The ice king didn't know what to do- this man was powerful and meant to kill the ice king. But, with the help of the nine queen, he granted non-magic users glimpses of dreams simulated by falling asleep. The man was satisfied and dreams and earth land were peaceful-except for one thing. the Ice species was dwindling and there was no way to stop it from extinction. for years and years life was normal in earth land and dreams. just about seventeen years ago dreams heard word of the last ice family surviving in earth land. somehow the take race heard the news and went to hunt the family down. Dreams sent a protector from the universe race to ensure that the family was safe- but he failed. The mom and dad were killed leaving only their small baby. The only population of ice."
David spoke. "that's you Evelyn. You were that baby. I'm the one who let your parents be killed. I'm so sorry."
I was speechless. It was so much to take in- but it does explain a lot if things- my pale blonde hair, my pale skin, and my icy blue eyes.
"What? David you-"
"Yes."
"Soon Evelyn, you will become the mighty queen of dreams and rule over the entire world." David said, overly solemn.
"CONGRATS!!!" They all yelled, I was kinda beginning to like David's weirdo friends. hmm.
