Day Summary: Valerie was upset since it was Monday today, but her day went average, she's been assigned a project with her best friend, Mia, which they hung out at the mall today.
Valerie went to her room and sat on the edge of her twin bed. She takes out the white box filled with the envelopes Tony had given her. She pulled out Envelope Two from the box, ripping the flap open, taking out a pink index card that has a cute note on it.
She goes to her iPod Nano and pressed track two and a song started playing and she read the index card
Track Two: Your last one didn't treat you right
I fell picture perfect
on and off the shelf to
a broken frame of mind,
a broken frame of mind
It comes back and haunts me
A bullet undercover
it fooled me every time,
fooled me every time

Valerie cringed at the thought of Ross, her ex boyfriend she dated before she met Tony. Ross dumped Valerie for Yocasta, is what happened. At least Tony was the best one she had and there's nothing to prove her wrong.
She waited until nine o'clock like Tony said, to call him. Once the green neon numbers on her alarm clock turned to 9:00, she picked up her cell from her nightstand and dialed her boyfriend.
Tony: Hello, my beautiful
Valerie: Babe, you don't have to worry about Ross, he was a jerk after all
Tony: I can't believe I called him my best bud
Valerie: But at least I have you, you make me feel alive and well Tons
Tony: It's nice to hear that, Val
