Valerie stared at her phone. After listening to Still the One, Valerie started double thinking of this whole mess, putting herself in Tony's shoes. She knows he regret what he did, but what hurt her more is him seeing Selena behind her back (cheating or no cheating) leaving her oblivious, and making her believe this was a romantic playlist to began with. Well, that wasn't a good solid reason to be mad at him, but still, she loved this playlist to begin with, up until track fourteen.

After her sobbing session, she blew her nose and picked up her phone. She felt all these mixed emotions: hurt, upset, hurt, sad, disappointed, hurt, mad, hurt, angry, hurt, betrayed, hurt, hurt, hurt.

She dials her ex-boyf- wow, ex-boyfriend, isn't that sad?

Tony: Valerie

Valerie: Hi Anthony

Tony: Look, can I explain?

Valerie sat on the edge of her bed. No, she can't sit here, she sat here through the romantic songs and when she was happy. She then sat against the headboard and sighed.

Valerie: Yeah, sure

Tony: *clears throat* You can't believe how much I cried. I'm not with Selena, okay? I just, saw her and all these feelings started coming back, but I tried snapping myself out of it since I'm with you. Then we met up for ice cream, and damn, all I thought about what I had with her when we were together-

Valerie: So you're still into her, that's what you're telling me?

Tony: No, I'm into you Valerie, stop saying that

Valerie: Either way, I'm still not going to trust you

Tony: Why are you so upset Val? I didn't kiss her or anything?

Valerie: First of, it's Valerie for you . . . second of all, you slept with her . . . third of all, you did it behind my back and without my consent, and because of that, I'm hanging up on you, again, goodbye.

More so she felt better after that.
