Valerie went up to her room since it was getting a little late and she was still depressed downstairs. She looks out the window and see that it was the sunset, still Valentine's day and she was now a track away from this stupid heartbroken playlist.
She probably would've been at Olive Garden that evening, eating her favorite platter with Tony sitting across from her, saying something stupid which would've made Valerie choke on her favorite frozen raspberry lemonade.
She grabs the envelope for Track Twenty-Seven for track seventeen from the white box that Tony had given her filled with envelopes. She didn't even bother herself to positioned herself in any place anymore, the first place she sat was on her chair which was by her desk, and she was planning on sitting there for the rest of the playlist.
She rips the flap of the envelope and pulls out the pink index card as she plays the twenty-seventh track of the playlist
Track Twenty- Seven: If I'm not the one, then we wouldn't be lasting forever as we have
You made your way in as I was leaving
You cut in line just as I was getting my stuff
And I couldn't decide if you were the most annoying human being I'd ever met
Or just the best thing that ever happened
Just the best thing that ever happened
You took the key out of the ignition
I could hear the rain on the windows
Right then and there I made up my mind to just go with it
Thinking what's the worst thing that could happen?
When the worst thing that could happen, could be the best thing ever

Valerie never even listened to a Tove Lo song besides Habbits (Stay High) which really got annoying after a while when the Z100 kept playing it the year prior, but this is the first song by Tove Lo she heard besides her single and she kinda do like it.
She searched up the lyrics of the song on safari and she found out that she can relate because of what her relationship with Tony was like, but the events leading up to the break-up, they were time bomb.
But Tony was the best thing that could ever happen.
