MIDNIGHT EP3: Where I Thought You Were Familiar

"Good morning."

Everyone looks at me before inviting me inside. "Sit here, Junseo."

"Yes."

It's not a big studio because I'll just meet my fans online. There's just a phone that I will use, but I need to look presentable first. This is my first time doing a fanmeet indoor, I usually do it outside having physical touch with them specifically handshake and hugs.

The makeup artist continues damping the foundation in my face while I scroll through the media. There's nothing more in my feed so I search for satisfying videos in the end.

"Hello!" I waved to my fan through the camera. "How are you?"

"Hi, Junseo." She giggled. "I'm fine. You're so handsome!"

"Ah, thank you." I bowed. "You're pretty too, best friend."

"Yes, best friends!" She says laughing. "Anyway I got here my album from the past era and I think there's something inside."

I listen to her attentively. "Yes, why?"

"Here..." She pulled it out from her jacket and once she caught it, she showed me and that was just a fingerheart. "Saranghae, best friend!"

"Ah!" I laugh. "I thought there's really something in the album. I even have a thought of changing it and complain for packaging. You got me there!"

"No, there's no need." She laughs. We continue talking to each other and after she says her message that she missed me and can't wait to meet in person. I do the same.

They're really good in sending me cheesy and pick up lines that I always adore. I don't know but when it comes to them supporting me and giving me stories are always so good to hear.

"Junseo-ssi,"

"Yes, noona?" I ask her.

"I think you stole a beat." Did I mishear her?

"What?" I inch my face from the screen. "Can you say it again?"

"I think you stole a beat."

A beat? "How? All I do is—"

"My heartbeat." She says before laughing. "It's my heartbeat, Junseo-yah!"

"Oh!" I laugh hardly. "I didn't expect that, noona. You're a good one!"

"Yes, thank you." She smiled. "Saranghae, Junseo!"

I showed her my finger heart. "Me too, noona! Nado saranghae!"

"Today is my birthday, oppa." The other fan told me. "But is it okay, if I change the usual? Can I wish for you instead of mine?"

"Eh?" I look at her being confused. "Yes, I think it's okay."

"I was very grateful that I was one of the chosen fan to meet you today! I was so lucky because it's my birthday and this is the nicest gift I ever had ever since. I'll continue supporting you, oppa. I wish you good health, long-term career and have a nice and happy day always. Thank you for being my inspiration!" She showed me her heart finger, "Saranghae, oppa!"

I bowed and stick both of my palms together. "Thank you so much. Happy birthday to you, I was really happy to witness someone celebrating their birthday with me instead with loved ones. I'll take care of myself, so you should too, okay?"
