Chapter 4

Two weeks later~

February 2

Todoroki's POV

It's been 2 weeks since the incident and Midoriya still hasn't woken up.
I'm starting to get worried that he may never wake up.
As I was walking through the hospital corridor, a few doctors and nurses ran by me and went towards Midoriya's room. I rush to the hospital room to find Midoriya in tears.
'Guess he got the news'

Izuku's POV

'Huh?.. wasn't I in the middle of a fight?'
As I open my eyes, I see a familiar white ceiling and people talking to me.
Then I remember everything.
"Kachan!!! Where's Kachan? He's safe right? Where is he??" I ask the doctor.
I'm getting a terrible feeling in my gut. 'Please...please..please...god, dont take Kachan away'
"I'm very sorry for your loss Hero Deku.
We tried everything we could but it was too late. The impact crushed his skull. We're really sorry" the doctors tell me while bowing their heads. I see Todoroki-kun at the door.
"Hey, please tell me it's a joke.... I wont get angry so please tell me it's a joke!!!!" I say between sobs.

They just stay silent. 'Eh?...is this for real'

I sigh. "Can you please leave? I want some time alone."
"Midoriya-.." " Sorry Todoroki-kun. I'll be fine. So...please leave me alone for now" I say with a smile. He looks pained at my expression and leaves with the rest of the doctors.

'Kachan...'

Todoroki's POV

Midoriya looked extremely exhausted. 'Ah, I need to tell the others that he woke up'.
I call our former classmates and inform them that he woke up.
As I was talking to them and updating the situation, Midoriya's mother and Bakugo's parents ran past me to Midoriya's room only to come out in a few minutes.

His mother comes out crying. I head towards them.

Mitsuki's POV

Once we come out of Izuku's room, Inko starts crying hysterically.
Todoroki walks towards us and tells us what happened a few minutes earlier.
'I know that Izuku really loved..ah, I guess it's in past tense now. No! Not now Mitsuki, Inko and Izuku both need you! I really hope Izuku doesn't think that it's his fault.'

Author's POV

Izuku was still in shock due to the terrible news that he had just received. His mother and Mitsuko attempted to console the no. 1 hero.
"Mom, Auntie... can I...I  have some time alone p..please?" Izuku says in a shaky voice.
They leave him alone with a pained expression on their faces.

Izuku's POV

"K..kachan....*sniff....arghh......*sniff"
How could he do this?!!!!!! Why did he leave me all alone??

After a few minutes

Author's POV

Izuku calmed himself down and put on a brave smile that no one fell for.
A few moments later, someone knocked the door.
Izuku wiped his tears and asked them to  come in.
"How can I help you?"  Izuku asked.
"Good evening, I'm Kurokawa Takechi from the Hero Association.  Can I please have some of your time, Hero Deku?"
"Sure. Who is that child beside you?"  Izuku asked with a smile.
"Oh, he's my son, Junta. He's here to help me out with his quirk. Say hello Junta"
The boy came forward, fiddling with his fingers. He seemed to be a high school student at UA.
" G..Good evening sir. I'm a big fan" He said nervously.
Izuku chuckled at the cute kid in front of him. 'That was refreshing'
"What can I do for you?" "My son has a memory quirk. I..uh..umm... this may be hard on you right now, but apparently Hero Ground Zero had said a few things right before he passed away. I think it will be better if you hear it from him directly. I'm really sorry for your loss."
Izuku was shocked. He couldn't say anything. "P...please go.. a..ahead.." He says in a shaky voice.
Kurokawa had a pained look on his face as he told his son to show him the memory.
Junta held Izuku's hand and a hologram like thing appeared. It was Katsuki holding on to Izuku when they landed on the ground. Izuku started tearing up.
"K..kacchan.. "

Katsuki held him tightly. Whispering something to him. "Izuku.....Izuku...I'm s....sorry...*sniff...I dont t..think....I'm...gonna....m...make...it.." Katsuki smiles at Izuku which made him break down completely.
Izuku became a complete mess. He was on the floor, crying and screaming.
"Izu...my...lovely..Izuku...I...love...y..you...I'm.. sorry..I...didnt...s..say..it....s..ss..sooner......*cough *cough....I love you Izuku".

"I love *sniff ....you.. too Kacchan"
Izuku says between his cries.
