Third person POV
Izuku gets up and completes his daily schedule.
Wash up, cook, eat and clean the house.
He takes out the trash to see Shigara- Tenko pacing at his door.
He chuckles as he greets him.
"Good morning Shimura-san"
Tenko looks at Izuku surprised as he greets him back.
"Just call me Tenko. No one's called me Shimura in a long time so it's kinda weird." He says with a slight smile.
"Okay, Tenko- kun. Come in, would you like some tea?"
"Yes please, thanks."
...
Izuku's pov
Woah, he looks totally different.
I let him in as I boil water for the tea. It's certainly pretty weird to have an ex- villain in my house. I smile as he looks at me.
"What's so funny?"
"Nothing. It's just weird seeing you sitting on my couch. It makes it seem like High school never happened."
He scoffs at me.
"Well, you better get used to it. I'm practically jobless so you'll be seeing a whole lot of me." I laugh at his behavior as I set up the table.
"You're welcome here anytime Tenko-kun. Bring the rest of them along with you next time. We should put the past behind us."
"Sure. I'd like that."
Third person pov
Izuku pours the tea for Tenko as he takes his seat. They chat about small stuff, work and whatnot.
"So you live alone? Why'd you retire so young?"
Izuku made a pained expression as he was asked that.
"Oh sorry. I haven't caught up with the news yet, just got released. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."
Tenko says awkwardly.
Izuku simply smiles and shakes his head.
"It's fine. I was just taken aback. Yes I live alone and I retired a while back. I couldn't really concentrate on hero work. "
"OH, I see" Tenko sips his tea as the air becomes silent.
"And what about Boom boom boy? He still a hero?"
"Ah.. Kacchan passed away actually. W...we were on a mission together and he.. died saving me"
Tenko looks at Izuku trying to smile even though he was clearly struggling.
"I'm sorry for your loss."
"It's fine. It was a long time back."
"Izuku. Don't pretend to be fine when you're not. Even heroes need to cry sometimes so stop holding back."
Izuku tears up as he listens to Tenko.
"I..I.. thought *sniff .. I was f..fine."
Tenko moves over to Izuku as he wraps his arms around him. He simply holds him as he let's him cry his heart out.
