In a second I'm slammed against a tree
"Tara! That is Megs. You is killing her." Lafayette screams as he runs up to us but Tara flings him backwards while still holding me up by my neck but then Pam grabs Tara and I drop to the floor trying to catch my breath again
"I can't do this all night. I got a job." Pam says annoyed
"You can't just leave. You're her maker." I gasp out with my throat still raw
"And I made her. She's your problem now. You owe me, angel." Pam says
"She gonna kill us." I cry but then I watch as Pam sighs and chokes Tara harder
"As your maker, I command you not to bite these two humans.
Ah, I think she got it. Stay in the house." she says as she throws Tara into the house and I quickly run up to see them on the porch
"Good luck, kiddos." Pam says and I sigh as she disappears
"What the hell do we do now?" Laf cries and I sigh but then Tara smashes her head throguh the glass and I watch as she runs around the house at supernatural speed screaming. We spend all night trying to get Tara to calm down before the sun finally arrives and I head off to the store to buy something when I arrive back home the three faceless figures are standing in my living room
"What's happening" I ask but instead of responds all three point o the bathroom in unison.
Stake they whisper
"Shit Lafayette" I cry as I rush down to the cubby and see Lafayette holding a stake above his head ready to plunge it into Tara
"I fucked up. I turned her into the thing she hate most. She was dead. - And I should have left her dead, Megs. Jesus was gone and I didn't wanna let her go too. And I turned her into this fucking thing for me. I ain't got nobody without her. But that's my problem, not hers." Laf cries
"Don't! It'll get better. When Jessica was turned, it took a long time for her to feel normal. It's always hard in the beginning." I cry
"We are miles beyond hard, Megs This ain't no life." Lafayette says lowering the stake
"We can make a life for her. Even like this." I say holding my hand out for Lafayette and he quickly hands me the stake. Later that night Lafayette and I are cleaning up the house when I see Tara in the corner of my eyes
"Tara?" I whisper but she walks up to us without saying a word and I feel Lafayette tense beside me
"I will never forgive either of you." she cries before she leaves the house screaming
"Tara wait!" I cry after her but she's already disappeared
