Death is Not the End

Sookie had been with Alreenes family all day. I'm almost certain it was to distract her from Alcide but I had finally gotten myself out of bed to fight this war and that's how I found myself walking with Andy and Jason to see Holly 

"How are you feeling?" I ask as I step into her bed and see her look up at me and smile 

"I've been better. How are you?" she says and I look down as I take a seat on her bed 

"I'm okay." I whisper 

"You can't be." she says 

"I have to be. For my sister and I, I have to be strong" I whisper and I take a big sigh before looking up at her "What's the last thing you remember?" I ask 

"Um.... I was at the mixer. Uh.... And then I remember running into y'all at the creek. Everything between is just.... It's gone." she says and I shake my head 

"It's not gone, it's just locked away. And I'm here to help you bring it back." I say and she starts crying 

"But look at me. Would you wanna know how this happened to you?" she says 

"No. No, I wouldn't Take my hands anyhow. - We need you to do this, Holly, please." I whisper and she nods before grabbing my hands and I see all these memories flash 

"They were feeding on me. I kept begging them to stop, but they wouldn't. I can't do this, Megs. I can't do this." she cries trying to pull away but I grip her harder 

"I know, but you're doing good. Come on, let's keep going back, before the woods." I whisper and the memories flood back 

"They took me outside. I think it was a bar." she says and Images of Fangtasia appear 

"What about everyone else? Where were they keeping y'all?" I cry and I feel screams in my head 

"They kept us locked, locked in a dungeon." she yells 

"ArIene, Nicole and Jane are still alive Kevin didn't make it." I state seeing them in my head and I hear the boys mumbling behind me 

"I'm gonna let go of your hands. I want you to know that you did good  Really, really good. I better get to Bill's and figure out a plan. I'm sorry." I say as I let go of her hands and she sobs before I get up and go to walk out the door 

"What am I supposed to do with her?" Andy asks and I turn around to look at him and I give him a soft smile 

"We like to be held." I whisper before walking again. When I run into the room I see Bill and Jess arguing 

"Jessica... is this because of what happened between you and Andy's girls?" I hear Bill ask and she shakes her head rolling her eyes 

 "Why isn't she healing?" I ask and she sighs 

"She hasn't eaten in months." Bill says turning to look at me 

"Guys, can you give us a minute? What she needs to hear, she needs to hear from a woman." I say as I look at Bill and Jess's boyfriend 

"Be careful." Bill says as he walks past me and I sigh before walking towards Jess and i see her back straighten 

"I know what you're gonna say." she says 

"I don't think you do." I say quickly 

"You need to eat, Jess.Going hungry isn't gonna change what happened.And you're not just punishing yourself, you're punishing everybody who loves you." she says mimicking a voice I believe is mine 

"I don't give a shit about any of that. Fact is, I don't give a shit why you're not eating. Because in my eyes, those three dead fairy girls are just the tip of the iceberg around here. So what if they're dead? AIcide's dead, Tara's dead. Almost everyone I've ever known and loved is dead. And even as we're talking right now, Jessica, you're dead too. So I'm sorry, but I just don't give a fuck about you or your problems. My friends are being held captive at Fangtasia...and I am gonna need a lot of help if I'm gonna rescue them tonight.And whether you care to admit it or not, I have been good to you. So are you gonna help me or not?" I cry and she looks shocked 

"Yeah. But I won't drink your blood." she says and I nod quickly
