True Blood

In the Beginning

When I look around I'm in some sort of field by myself 

"Hello?" I cry looking around but then I see a woman in sight 

"Meghan" I hear a voice say and I watch as the woman turns around and I see Antonia standing there 

"Antonia?" I whisper and she smiles at me 

"I have heard your prayers I understand you would like to live a normal life and know more about yourself" she says and I nod feeling tears stream down my face 

"Yes I want that more than anything" I cry as I fall to the floor she walks over to me and places a hand on my head 

"When you call on me child I will come" she whispers before kissing me but as I look up I see the voices surrounding me as well 

"You wish to take the deal?" they ask and It's the first time I have ever heard them speak 

"Yes' I sob and they nod 

"We shall grant you this child" they whisper and I get up moving towards them 

"Can you show me? Show me how to become my true self how to use my powers for good" I cry 

"When you remove your memories we will go through with the process of opening your mind to the greater opportunities" they say and with that I jump up in shock and find myself in my room in bed 

 "Knock, knock." Jason says before walking into my room holding a tray in his hand

"What time is it?" I whisper as I sit up in the bed  

"It's just before noon." he says placing the tray down in front of me 

"Shouldn't you be at work?" I ask smiling 

"Yeah, probably. Listen, I don't know how to make lunch, so I made you breakfast instead. Listen, about last night. It's not your fault, Megs" Jason says and I sigh 

"What are you talking about?" i ask 

"I'm talking about the shit we learned last night. About your blood being in the back seat and all. It has to be on your mind. Don't tell me it ain't. You know, I always thought it was my fault." he says and I shake my head "I mean, we all did." he says 

"Jason, I never said anything to-- " I begin in protest but he sighs 

"I know you didn't, Megs. That's my point.I mean, not once in all these years... have you ever treated me like their dying was on me. You know, we were so young, and it was so unfair. And still, you-- You never even slipped. Today, we know the truth... but I will be damned if I let you take that on. Because you never let me, and I love you for it." he says and I smile before i pull him into a hug 

"I love you too. And, yes, you can eat my bacon." I whisper in his ear and he smiles before picking up the bacon and shoving it in his mouth. When I get up that morning I head to the hospital hearing about Sams girlfriend 

"Hey. Bad timing?" I ask as I walk into what I think might be a fight 

"Actually, your timing's perfect. Sam's had about all he can take of me." she says from her hospital bed and I smile 

"Not much of a patient, are we?" I ask  

"I'm a raving lunatic bitch." she states and Sam laughs 

"Ooh, you said it." he cries and I nod before handing her a bag  

"Well, I got junk magazines, junk food...because I know how awful hospital food can be. And then, the flowers to class this up a bit, so I don't seem so WT." I say and she smiles picking it up 

"Thank you, Meghan. I love all of it, but right now, it's all about the Sonic." Luna states and I nod before looking at Sam
