I close my locker happy to be free. School's out and I couldn't be more thrilled that I survived my first day here.

"Helloooo!" I turn around to see a smiling Carmen come bouncing down the hall with Sophie on her heels.

"Hi." I say pulling my bag onto my shoulder.

"Sooooo, how was day one in hell?" Carmen asks, pulling a lollipop out of her pocket which she unwraps and sticks into her mouth.

"It was okay. All my teachers seem nice which is good although I have no idea what I'm doing in English so I might have to ask James to help me, speaking of James where is he? He's supposed to be my ride home." I ramble on, stopping only when I realise that they're sneaking glances at something over my shoulder.

"What are you guys looking at?" I glance over my shoulder and feel my jaw drop.

Holy. Mother. Of Peanut Butter Cups. There is a literal God standing about 10 feet down the hall leaning against his locker. He has that messy 'I don't give a shit' hairstyle going and I can basically see his abs through his white t-shirt. His clear grey eyes lock on mine and I twist my body so I'm facing him.

"Like what you see?" His voice as smooth as honey floats down the hall and I can basically feel Carmen and Sophie sigh beside me at the dreamy tone it possess.

"What gave you that idea." I say surprisingly calmly back.

"The fact that you were staring at my abs." He smirks.

"You can't even see them." I shoot back.

"I can show you them and much, much more if you want. All you have to do is ask." He winks at me and I feel myself boiling with anger. He's just another hormonal teenage boy. He's nothing special besides his godly looks.

"Asshole." I mutter folding my arms in front of me. I feel his eyes travel down from mine to my chest which has been pushed up slightly since I decided to do the idiotic thing of crossing my arms in front of a teenage, sex driven boy.

"What a shame." I say dropping my arms and turning around to walk away from him and out of this place.

"I thought there was something different about you." I pause and look back at him.

"I thought that you weren't like every other boy. I thought that you might actually be nice and friendly and funny, but as it turns out your just like the others." I continue walking away from him and Sophie and Carmen follow me.

"Alright what was that?" Carmen says the moment we are out the door.

"What was what?" I ask her.

"That conversation you just had with Angus Gale!" Carmen says, gesturing at the door. "You literally just dissed the schools sex god and player."

"Oh." Now that I actually think about it he did seem like a player and he definitely is a sex god.

"Man he's gorgeous. I would totally date him." Sophie says dreamily from the back.

Carman and I just look at her. "Dude, you're gay." Carmen says breaking the silence.

"Well if I wasn't gay I would date him." Sophie corrects herself.

"Do you know where James is? He's dropping me home." I ask staring around the parking lot.

"He's got strings ensemble but I can take you if you want considering that I know where your house is." Sophie says.

"If James wasn't my neighbour that would totally sound creepy." I laugh as we all pile not Sophie's car.

"Btw girls night on Friday at my house!" Carmen
squeals. She grabs my bag and unzipping it pulls my phone out and punches in her number. "I'll text you the address and what to bring. Oh and if you actually checked your phone you would see that James has sent you a message telling you that he has band" she chucks it at me from the back seat.

I glance at the message on the screen. Got band this arvo. Sorry. Can you possibly catch a ride with Sophie or someone. If not let me know and I'll give you my keys. James.

I smile at his message as Sophie pulls into my street.

"Here you are!" She sings as she pulled up in front of my house.

"Thanks." I say climbing out as Carmen climbs into the front. "See you tomorrow."

"Bye!" They both say with smiles and Sophie drives off. I unlock the front door and smile at the fact that the house is all mine. Not another person to disturb me. I set my bag down and head straight for my music room where my piano is waiting for me.
