I push my way through the crowds not actually sure where I should go. God fucking dammit. I should have asked James. Everyone seems to be going a certain way. I turn on my heel to follow them when I hear a voice.

"BELLA!" A voice screeches above the rest. I glance around wildly and find Sophie grinning at me.

"Shout it a little louder, I think somebody in Africa didn't hear you." I tease.

"Shut up you," Sophie gives me a little push. "So chickita how's your-" she cuts off suddenly peering at my face.

"God dammit woman you've been here less than an hour and you're already crying. It's not that bad." She says giving me an awkward pat on the shoulder. I give a small laugh.

"We have a half hour until assembly, we can get you cleaned up." She grabs my hand and weave through the crowd in the opposite direction of everyone else. She suddenly turns on her heel and pushes me towards a door.

"BELLA!" A familiar voice calls out. I peer around Sophie to see James standing there. He opens his mouth to say something. If it's "I'm sorry." I'm not in the mood for it. He's made me a wreck on my first day, besides I need time to push those horrible memories to the back of my mind.

As if sensing my distress Sophie pushes me into the bathroom, and suddenly James is gone.

(James) Set back when Bella just left his car...

Holy. shit. Her sister died. Why the hell did I bring that up? Me and my stupid mouth. Crap. I need to find her and apologise. I scramble put of the car and take of running. I'm moving in the opposite direction to the flood of students but I don't care. People are looking at me like in crazy as I elbow them out of the way and desperately try to find Bella.

God dammit. How am I supposed to find her in this sea of students? Then I hear a familiar voice screech "BELLA!" Sophie! Thank The Lord for Sophie. I follow the direction of her voice, glancing around until I see the familiar blonde bun. I push my way after Sophie in the ever growing crowd, not taking my eyes off her for one second. She's got a tight grip on Bella's arm and is pulling her towards the girls toilets. It's now or never. "Bella!" I call out not bothering to hide the desperation in my voice.

She peers around Sophie, her brown eyes full of hurt. I open my mouth to say 'I'm sorry' but before I get a chance she's pushed into the bathroom by Sophie, who glares at me, mouths 'not now' and follows Bella into the bathroom. Defeated, I join the crowds of people moving towards the auditorium for our start of school assembly.
