Maddison's pov (Harry's ex)

Maddison sat on the old green couch, not ever noticing the faded patches. Her still scrawny legs dangled over edge just like they had when she was small, but now her toes tapped the dusty boards as she sat back and listened to her music. With her eyes closed she let the lyrics flood her like an early summer breeze. They weren't always upbeat, but they soothed her just the same. If these singers felt just like her, maybe she wasn't alone after all. With all thoughts of betrayal forgotten she brought her knees up to her chest and sucked in the smell of breakfast being cooked.

"Maddie if you don't hurry up you'll be late!" Her mother chimed in from the kitchen with her dad. "Plus your breakfast is getting cold."

Standing up after a few minutes, Maddison makes her way to the kitchen to greet her parents. She had one earbud in and the other our t she she would be able to hear if either guardian decided to say something. Just then as she sits, her mom gets a business call, and her dad is off to the room to pick out something to wear. Sighing with slight annoyance, Maddison stand. She picks the omelette off the plate and makes a fave. The omelette would have done better as a new sole for my work boots than breakfast. It was somehow thick and rubbery, perhaps it was because I'd slept in and this egg delight was now three hours old and cold. It slid into the dog's bowl with a resounding "thunk".

Making her way to her car, as eventually fully to the school. Maddison writes her latter, and then quickly goes to Harry's locker. Reading over the letter, she sighs a bit..

C'mon, Harry..You can't ignore me forever, you know that you still love me. That boy doesn't mean anything to me.. It was just a stupid fling! Talk, text, or call me back! Xx

-Maddison

She tucks the note in Harry's locker, and hoist her backpack on her shoulder higher. Everyone passes by her and gives her sideward glances, still disgusted in what she did to Harry. Everyone knows Harry, and everyone likes him basically so for her to hurt him made everyone dislike her for the most part. Her old 'friends' ditched her, causing her to be alone without anyone but her own thoughts to rely on for companionship.

She passes by Zayn's locker, and glares at the metal blue door, and wants to let all her rage out on it. She then hears laughter and soft giggling, and looks up to see Zayn on her Harry's back. Louis and Liam were holding hands, while the other teammates followed behind like the puppy dogs they were. Maddison glared harder at Zayn, and he fingernails dug into the strap of her backpack. She watches as the raven haired lad places kisses over Harry's jaw from behind, and just feels like yanking him off Harry's back and pounding his head against the ground multiple times. Then Harry would be hers again, and everything would be perfect.

She's to busy staring at them to notice that someone is headed in her direction. They collide, and Maddison is left on the ground with all of her stuff scattered around her.

"Shit oh my gosh I wasn't paying- wait...never mind." The girl who was also one of Harry's friends says smiling the sweetest fake smile she could muster up. Se lifts her own bag up on her shoulder and continues her way to her boyfriend Zach who was on the team, and not so shockingly next to Harry and Zayn.

Maddison looks around her, and groans as she clenched her fist before shoving all of her belongings back into her bag. She stands quickly and runs off to the bathrooms, luckily it was empty so as she cried she could cry freely. She reached her hand up to the tears on her cheek and as he did so the ticking from the clock seemed to get louder, counting all of her stresses. The thoughts are accelerating inside her head. Maddison wants them to slow so she can breathe but they won't. Her breaths come in gasps and she feels like she will black out. Her heart is hammering inside her chest like it belongs to a rabbit running for its skin. The room spins and she grips the sides of the sink tighter, trying to make everything slow to something her brain and body can cope with.

"Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop!"

Her hand lifts up and she punches the mirror causing glass shards to splatter everywere. At first she did not notice it. But as she lowered her head in suspicion of the stillness of the room, she staggered back at the sight of the red liquid where the mirror should have been, and the same red liquid that was dripping down the sink and her own hand. The color swirled in her mind, making her feel light headed. Horrified, she stared at the blood with fear, and that's when her hands started shaking. Her breathing quickened as the sticky feeling of the blood started to travel; from her knuckles to her forearm. "I died...I...mom...my..I-"

Stumbling backwards with wide eyes, she took a gasp of air and released it in an ear piercing scream. The doors of the bathroom shook and the window in the bathroom shatters. Maddison takes a deep breath and listens as he scream echoed along the walls. Almost immediately teachers and other students were in the bathroom with her. Her eyes locked onto her blood on the wall and then to her hand and then blackness fills in her senses.
