Chapter 6

Walking in the Cascade was like walking into a club scene in a movie. Music blasting, lights flashing, people dancing it was amazing. Chris led me through the herd of people hand still over my shoulders.
We found ourselves at a little cubicle with food, snacks and drinks.
"Jerry this is Jazzy. Jazzy this is Jerry. The owner and the coolest guy ever" Chris said
"Nice to meet" I said with a smile
"Aye you got a pretty one Chrissy boy. It's nice to meet you young lady." The old man complimented making me blush.
"I know" Chris said looking down and me shaking me a little
I'm really thankful for my dark skin because I wouldn't want to see my blush and get cocky
I watched people skating around have fun and I couldn't help but smile
This place isn't just a place to hangout it's home. I love how no one is fighting arguing.
"What are you thinking about beautiful" he said
I couldn't help but take a liking to this little nickname he gave me
"Everyone just....seems so happy here. I love it"
"Yeah I know, we've all been coming here since we were 5, we all love it here it's home ya know."
Chris said making look at him with and understanding smile
"I don't like how you claimed me and never took me out on a date" I said break the silence
"What?" Chris said snapping his head towards me in shock
"You're not deaf" I said mocking what he said earlier
"Jasmine Baker, will you go out with me?" He asked but before I could answer I saw the same loud girl approaching us looking very angry making roll my eyes
'Here we go again. She really can't catch a hint" I thought to myself
"Hey Chris" she shouted
How do I no know this girls name by now. Honestly I don't care
Chris put his around me pulling me towards him
Making us face, face to face
We were so close I could feel his breath on me
"Their brown. Light brown? Nah dark brown" Chris said ignoring the loud annoying girl
"What?" I asked confuse
I was kind of scared of how intense this was
It was like no one was around us and we were in the room by ourselves
"Your eyes. There dark brown and .....beautiful" he said getting closer to me even though I didn't think it was even possible
"Thanks" I said swallowing my saliva very hard
His eyes went from my eyes to my lips
I inhaled a breath not knowing what else to do
'What am I doing I just met this boy' I thought to myself
Chris leaned in until our lips finally touched
Our lips moved in sync
He bit my bottom lip so his tongue can have full access to the inside of my mouth
He placed his hands on my hips pulling me closer so I placed my hands around his neck
Then suddenly I couldn't feel him anymore and then the noise from my surroundings started to come back and reality clicked in
"Really Chris, I'm sorry for what I did to you but using her as a rebound is ridiculous"
Rebound? What the hell
"Jazzy? Are you okay?" Alex asked me
I jumped a little not knowing she was beside me
"Yeah let's go" I said and with out a second thought I was in my car driving away
