It was lunch and we were in our usual spot. I didn't see Chris after our argument and it just made me feel weird for some reason.
"Why are you so quiet bae?" Alex asked and I shook my head at her
"Just thinking" I replied and she nodded
"Can I come over tonight?" Josh whispered in my ear making me almost melt
"I have to take care of my grandma so no" I laughed while pushing his head
"Wassup?" The familiar annoying voice said from behind me

I'm sick of this. I can't get one good day oh my gosh.
I ignored and continued talking to Alex
"Hey your names Josh right?" She asked making me laugh and shake my head
This bitch got some nerve.
"Yeah" Josh coldly stated
"Well, I'm Madison" she said but Josh didn't even look her way
He was playing with the sleeve of my shirt and eating my fries
"Boy stop eating my damn fries before I break you hand." I said slapping his hand as he reached for another
"Um excuse me I'm talking to you" Madison said waving her hand
'Shii she still here?' I thought to myself
"Shit you still here?" Alex asked repeating my thoughts making me and Josh laugh
"I wasn't speaking to you ugly"
Is she serious? I hope she knows I throw hands for my bestie
"If you don't-" I started but was cut off by Alex
"Bitch have you seen yourself? Looking like Shrek sister, now leave before I beat your ass" Alex said
And I was in complete shook. Damn alright bestie.
"Excuse me?" Madison asked as shook as I was
"You heard her" I said at the same time Alex said "You excused bitch"

Madison stood there looking like a fool for a second or two before finally leaving. I couldn't stop laughing. She really need to chill out. I'm officially convinced she's obsessed with me. She isn't even my type with her loud ass
"You excused bitch" I said in a mocking tone repeating what Alex said
"She gets on my last nerve, on everything" Alex stated and I nodded
"Walking up to me asking my name and shit and she isn't even that cute" Josh mumbled
"Aww Josh got a girlfriend" I laughed
"Who? You?" Josh asked making me roll my eyes
"Awww, not y'all making me a third wheel bye" Alex said gettin up and walking away
"Let's go, I'll walk you to class" Josh said and I nodded

We were walking in comfortable silence. It was always like that with Josh he made me feel comfortable. He put his arm around my shoulders as we walked silently to my class.
"I'm coming over tonight" he whispered in my ear making me smile
"No" I said rolling my eyes
"Yes, don't worry we don't gotta do nothing. We can just chill. I'm going to bring a change of clothes this time" he said with a smile on his face
"Okay, you can come over" I said once we made it to my classroom door
"I know." I sucked my teeth and his statement making him laugh
He kissed my forehead sending butterflies in my stomach as I walked in class. Alex was in my class but she didn't want to be a third wheel so she got here earlier.
"Hey" She said while sending a kiss at me and I caught it
"Long time no see" I said laughing
"Shut up" she said turning around rolling her eyes
