It was as if he was floating. The soft beeping in the background became quieter as the will to open his eyes grew stronger. For the first time in a long time, he didn't really feel anything. It wasn't the same feeling as being numb, it was freeing and nice. The beeping had dissapeared by now, as he was finally able to open his eyes. They fluttered open, almost immediately wanting to close due to the bright light that met his pupils.

He found himself in the middle of an open meadow. Sitting up, he watched horses drink water by the stream nearby whilst birds soared over them in the sky. Jisung sat up, his senses slowly returning to himself.

'Wait... Am I dreaming? Shouldn't I be...'

"San, look! A new friend!" A boy with brown hair ran towards Jisung, followed by a boy around the same age with black hair. They stopped right in front of him, smiling brightly down at him.

"Hello, who might you be?"

"J-Jisung... Han Jisung." He responded as he took the hand that was stretching out towards him. The slightly older looking boy pulled him up, smile never leaving his features.

"I'm Park Seonghwa and this is Choi San. How long have you been here?" Jisung looked around him, still unsure of the situation. He had to be dreaming, right?

"I uhh... I'm not sure where 'here' really is. I just woke up? Or not? Am I dreaming?" The two boys immediately shared a knowing look amongst themselves. Han Jisung was by no doubt, a newcomer.

"You're not dreaming, you're... how do I say this? You've passed away?" Jisung stared blankly at the faces of his new 'friends'.

'I... did it?'

'Finally?'

"Now, judging from how you look and seeing you just ended up here, how old are you? Did you already choose your preferred age?" San asked, questioningly eyeing Jisung. He seemed too young to just end up here like that. Usually, newcomers are at least in their 50's if not older. The younger ones tend to freak out more when they find out they're dead.

"Uhm, I'm 19. How about you guys?"

"I can't remember the age of when I died, but now I look 22!" Seonghwa expressed, earning a confused look from the newbie. It seemed like the two other boys caught on. "Oh, you can choose to forget your life on Earth. That's what I did!"

"D-Did you have such a bad life, you wanted to forget?"

"Can't say I know, I forgot!" Seonghwa laughed, earning a slap on his arm from San.

"You have to meet with the gods though. Especially since you're new here. You can also have the option to forget, when you stand before them."

"I see..." Jisung mumbled, zoning off slightly as he began to follow the two boys out of the meadows. He got lost in his thoughts as he thought back to his friends, Changbin, Chan and Seungmin. As well as his new 'friend' Minho. A pang of guilt and pain washed over him, feeling bad for leaving Changbin behind. He just hoped he wasn't the one to find him this time. He shook his head to rid of those thoughts. Whatever happened, happened. He had finally succeeded in leaving his miserable life, it was better this way. He no longer had to worry about his future, or his father. Here, he could be free.

"So... if you don't mind... how did you end up here?" Seonghwa asked, earning him another slap from San. "You can't just ask that!" The latter boy hissed under his breath, quickly glancing over at Jisung's reaction to the question.

"Oh? I took my own life."

The two boys leading the charge immediately halted in their tracks, turning around to Jisung.
