Hell was... not what Jisung had expected. There was no giant pit of fire nor did he fall endlessly into a never ending black hole. Instead, the sun was shining and there not as many demons out. The only ones he saw, is what Yeji explained to be halflings like herself. They were the non-harmful type as far as that definition would go. Anything could hurt anyone, Jisung still made sure he didn't let his guard down.

"I wonder where we're supposed to go, do you still feel nothing?" Jisung shook his head. When it had been dark, he felt a strong urge to go south. However as the light of day started to show its presence, the feeling faded. It probably had to do with the fact that the demon hurting Minho was feeling weaker so he may have stopped the torture for now, but it didn't ease Jisung's mind.

"Well, as long as we keep heading in this direction, we should be fine. I'm sure we won't just magically walk past a torturing chamber without knowing."

"True that." Jisung responded. Even though he should be more afraid of his situation, he almost felt at ease in a way. He had Yeji who knew this place like the back of her hand and had the skills to battle off some unwanted guests if needed, so he took the time to take in the place fully.

The stream they were walking along was almost something that he only could describe to be a kind of black tar. It went by slowly and he was sure to not dip any of his toes in there, scared it might swallow him whole if he did. The sun in the sky was a bright purple, making the entire world hue in that same shade. It had given him a slight headache, but he adjusted faster than he had expected.

At that exact moment a demon flew over their heads. It kind of looked like a mix of a bat and a pterodactyl, making the hairs on the back of Jisung's neck stand up. It looked disgusting.

"Why do demons even look that gross." He muttered more to himself than to Yeji, but she took no time to step in and explain.

"Demons have never been alive so they never really had a vessel, until mankind was created. The nightmares of humans are what form demons took on and over time, they just stuck to it."

"I guess... that could make sense. If I were a demon I'd kinda wanna look like a sexy badass. Like Sebastian."

"I don't know who that is."

"Oh, right. Nevermind then." He scratched the back of his head as he looked at the ground. They were about to enter a wooded area before Yeji halted in her tracks. She turned around and held out a black cloak for Jisung to take.

"W-Wha—? Where did you get that from?!" Jisung looked Yeji up and down. She wasn't wearing a backpack and her torn pants didn't even have pockets. He mentally slapped himself for his head, a cloak wouldn't have fit in there regardless.

"Magic. Now take it. Since it's nearing the middle of the day, the demons are hiding from the sun. I'm sure we're bound to walk into some demons here. Plus, I didn't really want to tell ya because I didn't want my suspicions to be correct, but we're heading straight for the castle."

"The castle?"

"Yup. The castle. Of the 11 demon princes. Your loverboy is probably in there, unless we find him in a tree or something."

"Why would he be there of all places?" Jisung took the cloak and groaned, before questioningly putting it on. It looked like he could easily by one of BTS' backup dancers, dancing along to V's Singularity.

"Can't say I know, but maybe they just enjoy torturing an angel more. Oh by the way, the cloak hides your smell. Put the hood on though, otherwise it's ineffective. And yes you smell, but it's not unpleasant. More like 'I'm a walking meat stick right here!'."

"I don't know about you, but that doesn't sound very pleasant to me." Jisung sniffed his armpits as Yeji already turned back to the forest, hoping that it wasn't just her calling him out for being stinky. It wasn't that bad.

The two then entered the woods. Jisung noticed how the leafs were black and the roots of the trees glowed a light shade of turquoise. A lot about this world didn't make any sense, but glowing roots seemed to be the weirdest thing yet. It didn't take the pair long before they encountered their first demon. Jisung was told to put his head down as to not make direct eye contact. Not that he was sure where the creatures' eyes even were. The skin of the demon looked like a slimey dark green goop, however he was in fact made of 'flesh'. The body was big, nearly twice as tall as Jisung. Smaller demons names 'coal tars' flew around it to give the latger demon its energy. All in all, it looked absolutely vile.

"Zwesnad, I'd like to pass without any troubles today. Unless you want to be torn to shreds by my blades again?" Yeji stated calmly, not even slightly impressed or disgusted by the thing in front of them.

Jisung could only make out simple grunts and a low rumble, but apparently it was enough for Yeji to understand.

"Great, then I'll pass." She motioned a subtle 'lets go' with her shoulder, before she walked around the demon. Jisung was close behind, seeing he had become slightly more terrified of this world now that he'd seen an actual demon. It didn't look fast, but Jisung knew that the demon could probably fuck him up if there was even an attempt at a fight. He considered themselves lucky being able to simply walk past the creature of their first encounter.

Sadly the next three hadn't been as peaceful, however the cloak really did work its wonders. Jisung wasn't spotted by a single demon as he watched Yeji beat them up from behind a tree. Her blades passed through the monsters with ease, Jisung watched her move at a speed he had never seen anyone move before. It was as if she had gone full Kurosaki Ichigo mode. They had continued their walk quietly. Speaking wasn't really an option, seeing it would raise suspicion as to why Yeji was talking to thin air. Jisung could already see the edge of the forest, showing slight bits of the gigantic castle which lay behind it. At least, it had been peaceful until Yeji suddenly stopped walking. Jisung gave her a confused look, but she spared him no glance.

"Do what do I owe the pleasure, Prince Asmodeus?" Jisung's eyes widened as a human-looking demon emerged from the shadows. He had long black hair that reached just over his collarbones. His eyes were iridescent and frightened Jisung just by staring at them. Yet something about them made Jisung want to come closer, almost as if he was mesmerized by their terrifying beauty at the same time.

"Well, I couldn't help but catch a wonderful scent as I was strolling through the gardens... So I decided to check where it came from. It seems it has brought me here, Miss Hwang."

"Well, I have to excuse myself as i ha—"

"Oh, dear lady. I wasn't talking to you." He turned his head to look directly at Jisung's direction, but their eyes didn't meet. It seemed as if Asmodeus knew something was there, but he couldn't see it. He took a step forward, causing Jisung to flinch.

"Why would you be referring to, then? I am on my own in here, Prince Asmodeus."

"I never said you were travelling in a party, my lady. However, it does seem as something just so happens to stand right beside you. May I have a glance, perhaps?" Asmodeus gave Yeji a sly grin, offering both her and Jisung no comfort. Yeji didn't know what to say, so taking her silence as a yes, Asmodeus walked forward until he was almost right in front of Jisung. The boy panicked, scared the demon might blast him to outer space if he did as much as raise his hand, so he took a step back. He failed to notice the glowing blue roots that were sticking out, causing him to fall backwards with a loud yelp. The hood fell down from his head, causing him to accidentally reveal himself in front of one of the demon princes.

"Why, hello there."
